To All dear brothers who comment in English
First of all this is a tamil site.
All can understand tamil but not English.
Most important is that the one who write in English must be well
versed in English on the contrary, the writer/commentator demeans
himself by using incorrect English thus making his comments
ridiculous.
I wonder why the comments are in English if it should reach the
majority; what makes it worse is even the English educated are
baffled.(International (school) English perhaps?)
These comments are read by brothers of other communities and may give
a bad impression of our community except one or two the English of the
rest is intolerable.
I hope I will be taken in the right context.
I really do not intend to hurt any one but I can not refrain from
saying "Fools rush in where angels fear to tread".

Looks like no one is perfect in English. From your above comment I noted the following. "Tamil" not "tamil", "cannot" not "can not" and "anyone" not "any one". Thanks

ReplyDeleteI do appreciate Bro Pinachena's but like bro Ghouse stated no one is perfect. If you want ''International english'' for colour should write Colour or Color?
ReplyDeleteLet them write however they want. dont start to put rules. yes It will be good if its in Tamil but there are some readers who doesnt read tamil.
Specially the one who studied at international school. and there are reverts who read this page. So let them write however they want. If you can understand then good if you cant just leave it. as its not the news its just a comment from a reader.

What about the massacre of Tamil? I have no Tamil fonts and not conversant in typing in Tamil. There were many mistakes in Tamil comments and news items.

Well, I don't have Tamil fonts. Nazeem's idea above maybe useful. It is true that there are a number of grammatical errors in lot of the comments. I have seen worse mistakes in Tamil comments and in many articles published in this site.
