ஹலால் சான்றிதழை வழங்கியதன் மூலம் சம்பாதித்த வருமானம் தொடர்பாகவும் அந்த பணத்தில் அவர்கள் செய்த பணிகள் குறித்தும் ஊடகங்கள் வாயிலாக நாட்டுக்கு தெரியப்படுத்துமாறு தாம் அகில இலங்கை ஜம்மியத்துல் உலமா அமைப்புக்கு சவால் விடுப்பதாக ஜாதிக ஹெல உறுமயவின் தலைவர் ஓமல்பே சோபித தேரர் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.
தெரியாமல் ஹலால் வரியை செலுத்தியவர்கள் என்ற வகையில் சிங்கள, பௌத்த மக்கள், ஹலால் சான்றிதழை வழங்குவதன் மூலம் உலமா அமைப்பு சம்பாதித்த வருமானத்தை அறிந்து கொள்ள உரிமையுள்ளது எனவும் அவர் கூறியுள்ளார்.
ஜாதிக ஹெல உறுமய உட்பட எந்த பௌத்த அமைப்பும் ஹலாலை எதிர்க்கவில்லை. பலவந்தமாக அதனை வழங்குவதையே எதிர்ப்பதாகவும் இலங்கையை மற்றுமொரு பாகிஸ்தானாகவோ, ஆப்கானிஸ்தானாகவோ மாற்ற இடமளிக்க முடியாது எனவும் தேரர் குறிப்பிட்டுள்ளார்.
இலங்கை சிங்கள பௌத்த நாடு எனவும் பௌத்தர்கள் காரணமாகவே முஸ்லிம்கள் இந்த நாட்டில், நலமாக வாழ்ந்து வருவதாகவும் தேரர் மேலும் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.
