பாராளுமன்ற உறுப்பினர் பாட்டாலி சம்பிக்க ரணவக்க குற்றப்புலனாய்வு திணைக்களத்தில் ஆஜராகியுள்ளதாக தெரிவிக்கப்படுகின்றது.
வாக்குமூலம் ஒன்றை வழங்குவதற்காக அவர் இவ்வாறு ஆஜராகியுள்ளதாக தெரிவிக்கப்படுகின்றது.

Champika Ranawaka should also be probed into the Rs. 1.2 billion Coal import fraud during his time as the Minister of Energy. Even though the Supreme Court dismissed the case due to technical reasons, the Court advised that it would be ‘appropriate to’ terminate the contract entered into with Swiss Singapore Overseas Enterprises Pte for the supply of coal to the Lakvijaya Coal Power Plant after giving reasonable’ notice and to call for fresh bids in terms of the law, for the supply of coal for the said power plant following competitive Bidding procedure. The tender process was initiated early. But, Minister Champika took over the ministry after that. Champika Ranawaka was the Minister of Power and Energy until 17 September 2015. Now the HE. Gotabaya Rajapaksa has the powers to initiate a probe on this scandal and bring this crook before the "Rule of Law". In reality, he has to be probed anew into many of the frauds he has been involved as a Cabinet Minister in the SLFP and UNP/Yahapalana governments. Champika Ranawaka misused the trust the Buddhist clergy and the Sinhala Nation had on him. He was also a "TOTAL" racist. His hatred to the Muslim community in Sri Lanka had no ends, calling every Muslim a "TERRORIST" in the Eastern Province without giving substantial evidence or proof. When he was challenged directly in Social media, he evaded the questions/issue. Has Champika Ranawaka forgotten his involvement in the JVP protest against the US in front of the US Embassy in Colombo many years ago when a rifle forcibaly grabbed from a security personnel was fired and an person was killed.
