மல்கம் ரஞ்சித் பற்றி, பேஸ்புக்கில் வீடியோவைப் பதிவேற்றிய பெண் கைது

கர்தினால் மெல்கம் ரஞ்சித் ஆண்டகையை இழிவுபடுத்தி காணொளி வெளியிட்ட பெண் ஒருவரை காவல்துறையினர் இன்றைய தினம் கைது செய்துள்ளனர்.

பத்தரமுல்ல பிரதேசத்தைச் சேர்ந்த 43 வயதான பெண் ஒருவரே இவ்வாறு கைது செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளதாக பிரதிக் காவல்துறை மா அதிபர் அஜித் ரோஹன தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.

கர்தினாலை இழிவுபடுத்தி சமூக ஊடகங்களில் காணொளி வெளியிட்டமைக்கு கத்தோலிக்க தேவாலயமும் கண்டனத்தை வெளியிட்டிருந்தமை குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.

கர்தினல் தொடர்பில் வெளியிடப்பட்ட கருத்துக்கள் பிழையானவை எனவும் கத்தோலிக்க தேவாலயம் குற்றம் சுமத்தியுள்ளது.

குறித்த பெண்ணுக்கு எதிராக முறைப்பாடு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளதாகவும் சட்ட நடவடிக்கை எடுக்கப்பட உள்ளதாகவும் ஆயர் இல்லம் தகவல் வெளியிட்டுள்ளது.

Woman arrested for uploading a video to Facebook with hatred content mentioning Archbishop

A 43 year old woman arrested from Battaramulla, for uploading a video to social media with hatred content mentioning His Eminence Malcolm Cardinal Ranjit, Police Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana said.

The Catholic Church also had issued an statement condemning the attempt by the woman to tarnish the image of the Archbishop of Colombo, Cardinal Malcolm Ranjith.

In a media statement, the Catholic Church said that the woman had published a video on Facebook making allegations against the Archbishop.

The Catholic Church said that the claims made by the woman is discriminatory and misleading.

The Archbishop’s office said that a complaint has been filed with the relevant authorities to take legal action against the woman. (With inputs from Colombo Gazette)
