UNP யின் 2 வேட்பாளர்கள், SLPP க்கு பல்டியடிப்பு

இம்முறை மாத்தறை மாவட்டத்தில் ஐதேக சார்பில் தேர்தலில் போட்டியிடும் 2 வேட்பாளர்கள் மொட்டுக் கட்சிக்கு தாவியுள்ளனர்

Two United National Party (UNP) candidates who were to contest the General Election from the Matara District crossed over to the Sri lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) today.

Addressing a media briefing, the two candidates extended their support to the SLPP.

The media briefing was organized by SLPP Matara district candidate Lakshman Yapa Abeywardena.

Chandana Priyantha and S. W. Premaratane who had submitted nominations from the UNP to contest from the Matara district had thus crossed over to the SLPP. (Newswire)
