உதுமானியப் பேரரசு நிறுவப்பட்ட நாள் - 1299 - ஜூலை - 27
ஆங்கிலேய வரலாற்றாசிரியர் எட்வர்ட் கிப்பன் தனது The History of the Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire என்ற நூலில் அத்தியாயம் 64ல் இந்தத் தேதியைக் குறிப்பிடுகிறார்.
பைஸாந்தியப் பேரரசின் கீழிருந்த அனடோலியாவிலுள்ள ஒரு நகர்தான் நிகோமீடியா. இந்நகரை சுல்தான் முதலாம் உதுமான் கைப்பற்றியதற்குப் பழிவாங்குவதற்காக பைஸாந்தியப் பேரரசர் இரண்டாம் அட்ரோனிகோஸ் 2000 பேர் கொண்ட ஒரு படையை அனுப்பினார்.
ஜார்ஜ் மவ்ஸலோன் என்பவரின் தலைமையில் வந்த அந்தப் படை முதலாம் உதுமானின் தலைமையிலான உதுமானியப் படையுடன் மோதியது.
கிபி 1302ம் ஆண்டு ஜூலை 27ம் நாள் நடைபெற்ற அந்த யுத்தம் பேஃபியஸ் யுத்தம் (Battle of Bapheus) என்று அழைக்கப்படுகிறது.
உலகையே புரட்டிப் போட்ட உதுமானியப் பேரரசின் துவக்கம் கிபி 1299, ஜூலை 27ம் நாளிலிருந்து துவங்கியது.

ABDUL HAMEED, I AM respecting your news on this modern Islamic world, where most of the muslim generation forgot all muslim history & running behind for selfishness politics & just for mere things. no one can compare the muslims ruling, dynasties in the wolrd history. because of that osmaniya khilafa only we are sustained in the wolrd by defenders & generations. Here the stupid things are mere things in front of our khilafath, new generations will not get this in to their mind or no knowledge to get it.
