இலங்கையின் உள்நாட்டு விவகாரத்தில், வெளிச்சக்திகள் தலையிடுவதை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ள முடியாது - அஸீஸ்
ஜெனிவாவில் நடந்து வரும், ஐ.நா மனித உரிமைகள் பேரவையின் 42 ஆவது கூட்டத்தொடரில், சிறிலங்கா இராணுவத் தளபதியாக லெப்.ஜெனரல் சவேந்திர சில்வா நியமிக்கப்பட்டது குறித்து, இணை அனுசரணை நாடுகளும், பல அனைத்துலக அமைப்புகளும் கவலை வெளியிட்டிருந்தன.
குற்றச்சாட்டுக்குள் உள்ளாகியிருக்கும் லெப்.ஜெனரல் சவேந்திர சில்வா இராணுவத் தளபதியாக நியமிக்கப்பட்டது, நல்லிணக்க மற்றும் பொறுப்புக்கூறல் முயற்சிகளை பாதிக்கும் என்றும் கருத்துக்கள் வெளியிடப்பட்டன.
இந்தக் குற்றச்சாட்டுகளுக்கு நேற்று ஜெனிவாவுக்கான சிறிலங்கா பிரதிநிதி ஏஎல்ஏ அஸீஸ் பேரவையில் பதிலளித்து பேசினார்.
‘உள்ளக நிர்வாக செயல்முறைகளை பாதிக்கும் வகையில், சிறிலங்காவின் பொது சேவை பதவிஉயர்வுகள், முடிவுகளில், வெளிப்புற சக்திகளின் தலையீடுகள் தேவையற்றவை. ஏற்றுக்கொள்ள முடியாதவையாகும்.
அண்மையில் இராணுவத் தளபதி நியமனம் தொடர்பாக எடுக்கப்பட்ட முடிவு, சிறிலங்கா அதிபரின் இறையாண்மைக்குட்பட்டது என்பதை கவனத்தில் கொள்ள வேண்டும்.
குற்றச்சாட்டுகளின் அடிப்படையில், சில இரு தரப்பு பங்காளிகள் மற்றும் அனைத்துலக நிறுவனங்கள் இந்த நியமனம் குறித்து கவலைக்குரிய நிலைப்பாட்டை எழுப்புவது வருந்தத்தக்கது. இயற்கை நீதிக்கான கொள்கைகளுக்கு முரணானது” என்றும் அவர் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.
Whoever who gave the Permanent Representative for Sri Lanka and our delegation to inform the UNHRC sessions that the appointment of Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva as the Army Commander was an internal matter – “HATS OFF TO HIM/THEM”.

Azeez, Sri Lanka’s Permanent Representative to the UN in Geneva telling the UNHRC in Geneva during the 42nd session today that Silva’s appointment was an internal matter should be praised. Sri Lanka should have such “GUTTS” in International Relations and strong statements like – Ambassador A.L.A. Azeez informing the UNHRC that Sri Lanka’s disappointment at concerns being raised by some countries over Silva’s appointment based on allegations, should send the “MESSAGE” that “NO LONGER” will SRI LANKA be will tolerate such threats of UN organizations like the UNHRC who have been indirectly supporting the worlds most ruthless terror organization in the world. Remember how UNHCEF supported the LTTE sending them container loads of emergency dry rations meant for fighting cadres that were "food" for the LTTE fighters. Sri Lanka should stand up allways boldly and honourably to defend the “SOVEREIGNTY”, “INTERGRITY” of our “MAATHRUBOOMIYA” and saveguard the “DIGNITY” of it’s armed forces at all times.
