மருதமுனையில் அப்பாவி மக்கள் 17 பேர் கைது
மருதமுனையில் இன்றைய தினம் முன்னெடுக்கப்பட்ட எதிர்ப்பு ஆர்ப்பாட்டத்தில் கலந்து கொண்ட 17 பேர் கல்முனை பொலிஸாரால் கைது செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளனர்.
முஸ்லிம் பிரதேசங்களில் இடம்பெற்றுவரும் இனவாதச் செயல்களைக் கண்டித்து இன்றைய தினம் மருதமுனையில் ஹர்த்தால் அனுஸ்டிக்கப்பட்டதுடன், கண்டன ஆர்ப்பாட்டமும் மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டுள்ளது.
மேலும், ஆர்ப்பாட்டம் மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்ட இடத்தில் இருந்து 8 மோட்டார் சைக்கிள்கள் மற்றும் 7 சைக்கிள்கள் என்பவற்றை பொலிஸார் கைப்பற்றியுள்ளனர்.
பொதுச் சொத்துகளுக்கு சேதம் ஏற்படுத்தியமை, போக்குவரத்துக்கு தடை ஏற்படுத்தியமை போன்ற குற்றச்சாட்டுக்களின் அடிப்படையில் குறித்த 17 பேரும் கைது செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளதாக பொலிஸார் தெரிவித்துள்ளனர்.
இதன்போது ஆர்ப்பாட்டத்தில் ஈடுபட்டவர்கள் மீது பொலிஸார் தாக்குதல் நடத்தியதாக அப்பகுதி பொதுமக்கள் குற்றம் சுமத்தியுள்ளனர்.
மேலும், கைது செய்யப்பட்டவர்கள் அனைவரும் அப்பாவி பொதுமக்கள் எனவும், அவர்களை உடனடியாக விடுவிக்குமாறும் மருதமுனை பிரதேசத்தில் உள்ள சட்டத்தரணிகள் பொலிஸாரிடம் கோரிக்கை முன்வைத்துள்ளதாக தெரிவிக்கப்படுகின்றது.

ReplyDeleteHow can you say them Innocents?? They have damaged and stoned CTB buses and attacked the passengers.there should be a proper investigation has to be done before release them.
ReplyDeleteWe can feel your pain and the urge to support and help the brothers in trouble in Kandy. But harthal & protests aren't helping anyway to improve the situation. Any form of violence or tyre burning will only help to escalate the situation.
