பௌத்தர்களை சீண்டுவதை தவிர்ப்போம்..!

நாட்டில் முஸ்லிம்களின் உணர்வுகளைத் தூண்டி விடும் நடவடிக்கைகள் திட்டமிட்டு மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டு வருவதாக உளவுப் பிரிவின் அறிக்கையில் தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளதால் முஸ்லிம்கள் நிதானமாக நடந்து கொள்ள வேண்டுமெனவும் நாட்டிலுள்ள பள்ளி வாசல்களுக்கும் முஸ்லிம்களுக்கும் அரசாங்கம் பாதுகாப்பு வழங்குவதற்கு தீர்மானித்துள்ளதாகவும் முஸ்லிம் சமய விவகார மற்றும் தபால் சேவைகள் அமைச்சர் எம்.எச்.ஏ. ஹலீம் அவர்கள் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.
மறு புறத்தில் முஸ்லிம்களுக்கு எதிராக இனவாதத்தை தூண்டும் வகையில் செயல்பட்ட குறித்த இளைஞரை கோட்டை பொலிஸார் நேற்று கைது செய்துள்ளனர்.
இந்த இரு செய்திகளின் பின்புலத்தில் தெரிகின்ற உண்மை யாதெனில் இந்நாட்டின் பௌத்த சகோதரர்களில் பெரும்பான்மையினர் மற்றும் அரசாங்கம் அடிப்படையிலே பௌத்த போதனைகள், விழுமியங்களை ஆதரிப்பதாகவும் அதற்கே முக்கியத்துவம் வழங்குவதாகவும் நீதி, சமாதானம், ஐக்கியம் போன்றவற்றுவற்றுக்கு முன்னுரிமை வழங்குவதையுமே நம்மால் இலகுவில் புரிந்து கொள்ள முடிகிறது.
நாட்டின் மொத்த சனத்தொகையில் 75 வீதமான பௌத்த சகோதரர்களில் ஒன்று இரண்டு வீதமானோரைக்கூட இனவாதிகளாகவோ அநியாயக்காரர்களாகவே நம்மால் குறித்து சொல்ல முடியாத அளவுக்கு முஸ்லிம்களோடு சுமூகமான உறவைப் பேணுபவர்களாகவே நம்மால் அவர்களை அவதானிக்க முடிகிறது, அண்மையில் விஸ்வரூபம் எடுத்துள்ள இனவாதக் கோஷம் என்பது இது ஒரு சில சில்லறைகளோடு சம்பந்தப்பட்ட செயல் என்பதனால் பெரும்பான்மை சமூகத்தின் நல்ல மனிதர்களது உணர்வுகளை காயப்படுத்தாது மென்மேலும் அவர்களோடு உறவைப் பலப்படுத்த முயற்சிக்க வேண்டும்.
இந்தக் காலங்களில் அந்த மதத்தின் பெயரில் செயல்படக்கூடிய இனவாதக்குழுக்கள், இனவாதிகள் போன்றோரால் முஸ்லிம்கள் பற்றிய தவறான எண்ணக்கருக்கள் அவர்களது சமூகங்களிடையே திணிப்பதற்கான பாரிய முயற்சிகள் மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்ட வண்ணமே இருக்கின்றது, எனவே முஸ்லிம்களாகிய நாம் முஸ்லிம் அமைச்சர்களில் முக்கியமானவர்கள், அனுபவம் வாய்ந்த புத்தி ஜீவிகளின் கவனத்தில் இந்த பிரச்சினைகளைக் கொண்டு சென்று இதற்கான நிரந்தர தீர்வுக்கான வழியைப் பெற்றுக்கொள்ள முயற்சிக்க வேண்டும், அதுவல்லாது நாமும் சமூக வலைத்தளங்கள், பொது இடங்கள், மீடியாக்களில் இனவாத நச்சுக்கருத்துக்களைக் கக்குவது, பௌத்த சகோதரர்களில் பெரும்பான்மையினரின் உணர்வுகளை சீண்டுவது போன்ற விடயங்களைத் தவிர்த்து நிதானமாகவும் கட்டுப்பாடுடனும் பொறுப்புணர்வுடனும் கருமமாற்றுவதே இப்பிரச்சினையை இலகுவில் தீர்ப்பதற்கான வழி என்பதே எனது தாழ்மையான அபிப்பிராயமாக முன்மொழிகிறேன்.

ReplyDeleteIt is a matter of common sense that a small minority can not
ReplyDeleteand therefore will not behave irresponsibly with a majority.
It is so simple as that and the world therefore expect the
majority to look after them and protect them , and not harass
them . So the bulk of the responsibility is in the hands of
the majority and the present govt seems to be acting with
that in mind which is a good sign . So, advise the minority
to relax in good faith .

I am not telling to go and fight with majority but when they oppress day after another we just keep silent or make ourself strong and heard ?
Make your selves more strong with real belief in All mighty Allah and the hearafter do good deeds always.and suplicate Allah for our non Muslims brothers for hidayath.

comment within its context. It is a thoughtful comment
aimed at the heading of the news item .I have passed the
responsibility of "keeping peace" to the majority and this
doesn't in anyway mean that we should be quiet in the face
of nonstop harassment by anyone. So there's no need to
remind me of Badr or Uhad or even the Hijra !I am well
versed in Islamic history both from Muslim and non Muslim
versions and also about other major religions and their
history .

In South Africa it was the Monority who was oppressing the majority. It was minority white to look after the blacks in there. So the above statements becomes invalid more over as Muslims we can't be the oppressor or the oppressed one.
Some say that we should be calm , if you take incidents against Muslims which happened in the last 10 years , it's always in the rise even though we were cool and calm. For how long you want us to be divided and oppressed like this ?
Kindly elaborate bro. I may be wrong about.so I am open heartedly waiting to hear from learnerd person.

time to lecture anyone ! You have gone as far as South
Africa to prove me wrong and do you think your example
fits against my point here ? You don't have to go that
far for such an example ! That was the situation in
former Ceylon just before 1948 .What happened to that situation ? Now, where is the minority and majority ?
When that minorities from Europe came with modern
weapons , what did we have to defend ourselves or
conquer them ? Did we have democracy at the time ?
It is not my point that is not valid , it is your
inability to understand a point of my comment .
Instead of taking the whole of my comment to study
my view , you are going line by line even after I
explained it . In short , in our country , Sinhalese
who are the majority and as leaders of the country
must ensure that all minorities are safe under their
rule of law . If that does not happen as expected,
the International community will hold the GOVT
responsible and take action against it in different
ways depending on the situation in the country.
Because it is all political ,linguistic and religious,
the leaders have to work hard to find lasting solution
which is not that easy if people are stubborn .
