இலங்கையை கண்காணித்தால், நிதி தருவோம் - அமெரிக்கா
இலங்கை அரசாங்கத்தின் நடவடிக்கைகளை கண்காணிப்பதற்காகவும் அரசாங்கத்தின் நடவடிக்கைகளுக்கு அழுத்தம் கொடுப்பதற்காகவும் அரச சார்பற்ற நிறுவனங்களுக்கு அமெரிக்கா அழைப்பு விடுத்துள்ளது.
அவ்வாறு முன்வரும் அரச சார்பற்ற நிறுவனங்களுக்கு 5 லட்சம் அமெரிக்க டொலர்களை வழங்க அமெரிக்க ஜனநாயக மற்றும் மனித உரிமைகள் அமைப்பு (டீ.ஆர்.எல்.) தீர்மானித்துள்ளது.
இந்த நிதியைப் பெற்றுக் கொள்ள விரும்பும் அரச சார்பற்ற நிறுவனங்களுக்கு விண்ணப்பிக்குமாறும் அமெரிக்க இராஜாங்க திணைக்களம் வேண்டுகொள் விடுத்துள்ளது.
இலங்கை சமீபத்திய காலங்களில் மனித உரிமைகளில் முன்னேற்றம் அடைந்து வருவதற்கு USA, UN, ஐரோப்பா, இந்தியா ஆகியவறலறின் முயற்சிகளே காரணம்.

அது தவிர, இலங்கையில் ISIS காலூன்ற கூடும் என RAW கண்டுபிடித்துளதால், இலங்கைக்கு USA உதவ வேண்டும்.

In SL, USA has to get full credit for SL's recent improvements in human rights.
USA brought 3 resolutions in UNHRC to improve SL's human rights conditions. But still SL needs to go long way, so USA still needs to assist SL more.
