good luck sis.
ReplyDeleteThank you :)
DeleteWhich Islamic authority certified that this book is not go beyond islamic guidlines?
ReplyDeleteI don't really understand meaning of "halal romance".
JazakAllah khair for the comment and concern bro/sis. Unfortunately we don't have an Islamic authority to certify books for their islamicality. Here the romance refers to the the genre romance in literature. We don't find modest books in romance genre in literature.
DeleteThe only permissible love according to Islam is love AFTER marriage and that's what I'm trying to promote. To show that romance books can be produced without lewd, seductive and graphic sex content. I'm using my pen to produce books that are modest, promote Islamic teachings and clear misconceptions about Islam. I believe that whatever I write is answerable to Allah. This book was read and reviewed by Muslim authors around the world and some prominent personalities in Islamic institutes, Alhamdulillah. My website www.thinkaholicmom.com contain them and it also has my short stories and poems that create awareness about Islamic teachings. I would appreciate if you could visit over there inshaAllah. And meanwhile I would also appreciate if you can go through my project at Launchgood a crowdfunding platform for Muslims. www.launchgood.com/NothingButLove
More than anything it would be appropriate if you can read and judge the book and show any flaws if I've committed so I can correct them. As a Muslim writer whose intention is creating modest books for our ummah, spreading the message of Islam through my pen and clearing misconceptions about Islam I wouldn't like to throw myself into hell intentionally. May Allah protect us all from the hell, ameen. JazakAllah khair once again.
Good luck sis. How could I get ur book? hope to buy

ReplyDeleteJazakAllah khair brother for your kind view. I'm sorry I don't know to respond to you in Tamil, pardon me. My intention of writing Muslim fiction strictly keeping myself within Islamic guidelines is simply because of the things you've mentioned in your comment. Most books I've read about Muslims are written by non Muslims or Muslims who don't abide by the rules of Allah. I strongly believe that books that arouse feelings of the readers is impermissible. And the only love that's acceptable/halal is love after marriage. Romance books in general displays stories about love before marriage. But my story is between a married couple and how they struggle to build their relationship. Sex shouldn't be displayed publicly, it's unislamic. So it will be to expose ones sex relationship. I've no intention in promoting erotic books. My intention here is to replace modest romance(love stories between husband and wife) while clearing misconceptions about Islam. I want to write books that Muslims can relate with and non Muslims can learn about ordinary Muslims. Media exposes Muslims as terrorists but millions of Muslims aren't born with bomb vests.
DeleteAs the name implies, I hope publication of the particular novel will never get involved to the criticism of the Islamic society.
ReplyDeleteI wish you best of luck and achieve target sales & further.

InshaAllah, hope not. I believe that I'm answerable for everything I write. So I pueposefully wouldn't throw myself into risking my hereafter life(may Allah guide me right)
DeleteIt's rare to find romance novels that doesn't contain graphic scenes and that's the reason why I've chosen this genre. To provide quality stories that reflects the positive side of Muslims and their way of life. It's a book that our readers can relate with. While providing modest entertainment I've used my pen to clear some misconceptions about Islam.
JazakAllah khair for the support. Hope you'll pre-order a copy of my book to judge it by yourself, inshaAllah. You can preorder it at www.launchgood.com/NothingButLove
Thinkaholic mom. Make sure your thinking don't go beyond the boundaries of Islam. If the book is not breaching any guidelines of Islam or not leading to Zina ( huthuvathuth Saithan) then my heartiest wishes for you sister.
ReplyDeleteJazakAllah khair voice Sri Lanka, I believe everything what I write will be put on my scale on day of judgement. And I'm not here to promote erotica. I'm replacing erotica with modest love stories. Halal romance mean everything love relationship permissible by Islam and that is a marrital relationship. My intention of writing this book is to replace good moral stories which clears misconceptions through storytelling. JazakAllah khair once again for your concern. Please visit www.launchgood.com/NothingButLove to read more about the project.

DeleteThought this would be appropriate to post here. So it'll save all our time in understanding the role of Muslim fiction.
ReplyDeleteMuslim fiction is a newly trending genre though it has a long history running back to the era of Arabian Knights. Building bridges between diverse people has become the main objective of diverse books. Sri Lankan bilingual author Zeneefa Zaneer has taken up this challenge. She is into producing Muslim Fiction by introducing Modest Entertainment to Sri Lankan book lovers. Readers will get an opportunity to take a closer look at Sri Lankan Muslims, their cultural aspects and lifestyle through her books. She wants to build stories with strong characters that Muslim readers can relate to.
Zeneefa Zaneer is a bilingual author from Kandy, Sri Lanka. Her previously published novelette “poodinna idadenna” a story of an unborn child is focused on prevention of abortion and her novel Senehase Ridmaya was widely embraced by Sinhala readers.
One of her English manuscripts ‘Autumn Leaves’ was selected for the second round at Amazon Breakthrough Awards 2012. Zeneefa’s articles and short stories are published in various local and international platforms. She was nominated for ‘The Muslim of the year 2012’ conducted by onislam.net. She’s the first Sri Lankan Muslimah who has entered her project at Launchgood crowd-funding platform. And was awarded as the Launchgoooder of the week recently.
Zeneefa is also the founder of IiWords-Islamic inspiring Words an online platform created to help emerging Muslim writers. Through her guidance many Muslim writers have become writers and spreading Islam through their writings.
"My latest novel, ‘Nothing but love’ is about A woman falling in love with her husband to whom she got married when there's no choice left" said Zeneefa.
“Barakah Ismael has survived the unthinkable, but unresolved feelings of hurt still plague her. And her trouble is far from finished when her friend’s last will threatens to complicate her destiny further. She’s forced to marry Amash Hassan, the most arrogant man she thinks ever existed. She’s left with a choice. Live or leave! But how can she leave when she falls in love with him? Yet all he wants is a wife in order to claim his rights from the property. Is this love worth fighting for?”

I wonder why Jesslya Jessly didn't write any comment. Normally she act as if she is the Saviour of women who succeed. (May be she likes women who succeed in wrong side of the earth )
ReplyDeleteAlarm bell is ringing some where.
Good lord seems like a lot of the comments are judgemental before judgment is due. Cut her some slack, read the book and then decide if you want to praise or condemn the work. This is not erotica, just a story of a husband and wife going through marital issues and how they overcome them with faith and hope. I dont see how that can make anyone have wet dreams. Peace. Over and out
