பள்ளிவாசலை தாக்கவந்த வன்முறையாளர்களுக்கு பொலிஸார் உற்சாகமூட்டினர்.எனவே அவர்கள் வெறியுடன் பள்ளிவாசலை நோக்கி பாய்ந்தனர். அங்கு சென்று தாக்குதல் மேற்கொண்டனர் என தவ்ஹீத் ஜமாஆத்தைச் சேர்ந்த ரஸ்மின் மௌலவி ஜப்னா முஸ்லிம் இணையத்திற்கு கூறினார்,
தற்போது தாம் தாக்கப்பட்ட பள்ளிவாசல் முன் நிற்பதாக கூறிய அவர், முஸ்லிம்களுக்கு எதிரான இந்த வன்முறையை சிங்கள ஊடகங்கள் மறைக்க முயலுவதாகவும், முஸ்லிம் ஊடகங்கள் உண்மையை பகிரங்கப்படுத்த வேண்டுமெனவும் கூறினார்.
