கொழும்பு கிரட்பாஸ் பகுதியில் பௌத்த பேரினவாத காடையர் கூட்டம் முஸ்லிம்களுக்கு எதிராக கட்டவிழ்த்துவிட்ட வன்முறையின் தொடர்ச்சியாக அப்பகுதியில் தற்போது ஊரடங்குச் சட்டம் பிறப்பிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
இதனை பிரதிப் பொலிஸ்மா அதிபர் அநுர சேனநாயக்கா, முஜீபுர் ரஹ்மான், என்.எம்.அமீன், ஊடகவியலாளர் ஜாவிட் ஆகியோர் உறுதிப்படுத்தினார்.
இந்த ஊரடங்கும் சட்டம் நாளை ஞாயிற்றுக்கிழமை வரை அமுலில் இருக்குமெனவும் அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

We as Muslims who are one of the most peace loving community in this country strongly condemn this sort of uncivilized attacks on Muslim Religious Institutions which has started for the past two years after the thirty year old civil war where as our Sinhalese Brothers must accept that we Muslims were always with the Majority in protecting the Integrity and the Sovereignty of this beautiful Island.
ReplyDeleteThough this was the reality the recent history of the Majority Sinhalese has changed in views on Muslims even after our Political Leader has given International support during the crises of United Nation against Sri Lanka. We as Muslims never believe on these extreme activities. Please we do appeal for the racists Sinhala Extremists that not to provoke such attacks on Muslims and our Religious Places this is not a good sign not only locally but internationally as well.
Please we also appeal the Muslim Local Politicians not to do Politics in this climate to achieve their petty goal which also not allowed in Islam.
As Muslims we earnestly appeal His Excellency The President not to be salience in this attacks on Muslims and on Islamic Religious Places where you Your Excellency have given many assurances about our safety verbally, we don’t want verbal assurances we need some action please. We also know this is not the work of the Majority Sinhala Brothers but some small groups who are aiming their presence for Parliament seat in the next Election.
Please note that we may be a Minority in Sri Lanka but we are the second largest in the world. I trust these small groups who may be funded by some Political Power should stop these uncivilized manner on Muslims.
