'சிங்களவரிடையே குடும்ப கட்டுப்பாடு - பிக்குமார்களின் தொகை குறைவடைவு'

(TM) 'சிங்கள பௌத்த மக்கள் மத்தியில் நிலவுகின்ற குடும்ப கட்டுப்பாடுக் காரணமாக இலங்கையில் பிக்குமார்களின் தொகை குறைவடைந்துள்ளது. இலங்கையில், 20,000 – 25,000 க்கும் இடைப்பட்ட பிக்குமார்களே உள்ளனர்' என்று ஊடகத்துறை அமைச்சர் கெஹெலிய ரம்புக்வெல்ல தெரிவித்தார்.
கண்டி, கொனகலகல விஹாரையில் நேற்று நடைபெற்ற சமய நிகழ்வு ஒன்றில் கலந்துகொண்டு உரையாற்றும் போதே அவர் இதனை தெரிவித்தார்.
இங்கு தொடர்ந்தும் உரையாற்றிய அமைச்சர்,
'ஆரம்ப காலத்தில் சிங்கள பௌத்த குடும்பம் ஒன்றில் ஏழு அல்லது எட்டு குழந்தைகள் இருந்தனர். ஆனாலும் இன்று அது இரண்டு குழந்தைகளுக்கு மட்டுப்படுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளது. 'சிறிய குடும்பம் பொன்னானது' என்ற மந்திரத்தை கூறிக் கொண்டிருந்ததன் விளைவே இது.
பௌத்த சமயத்துக்காக ஒரு பிள்ளையை வழங்க சிங்கள பௌத்த குடும்பங்களுக்கு இன்று முடியாதுள்ளது. கணக்கெடுப்புகளின்படி நாடு முழுதும்; இன்று 20,000 க்கும் 25,000 க்கும் இடைப்பட்ட பிக்குமார்களே உள்ளனர்.
நாட்டையும் பௌத்த மதத்தையும் அன்று முதல் பாதுகாத்தவர்கள் பௌத்த தேரர்களே. பௌத்த தேரர்களின் தொகை குறைவடைந்துள்ளது நாட்டுக்கு பாரிய நட்டமாகும். இன்று கேள்விப்படும் சம்பவங்கள் நாட்டின் நல்லொழுக்கம் பற்றி மீண்டும் சிந்திக்க வைத்துள்ளது' என்றார்.
இன்று எத்தனையோ ஏழை குடும்பங்கள் ஒரு பிள்ளையை கூட பெற்று எடுத்து வளர்க்க முடியாத நிலை ஏனெனில் குழந்தை செலவுகள் எல்லாம் மிகவும் உயர்வு இந்த நிலையில் எப்படி 5 அல்லது 10 குழந்தைகள் பெற்று கொள்வார்கள்.அண்மை காலங்களில் அதிகமான குழந்தைகள் குடும்ப சுமை காரணமாக கொலை செய்யப்பட்ட சந்தர்பங்களும் காணுகிறோம்.
ReplyDeleteஎரியிற நெருப்பில் எண்ணையை ஊற்றும் இதுபோன்ற அரசியல்வாதிகள் இருந்தால் ஏன் பிரச்சினைகள் வாராமல் இருக்கும். நிறையவே புத்திசாலிகள் உள்ள பெளத்தர்களில் குறிப்பிட்டளவு பொதுபல்சேனக்களும் இருக்கின்றார்கள் ஆனால் இவர்களின் நச்சுக்கருத்துக்களால் பாமரமக்கள் அவர்களின் வழிக்கு இழுக்கப்பட்டு தீயவழிகளுக்குப்பாவிக்கப்ப்டுகின்றார்களே.
ReplyDeleteYou ministers!! first of bring the cost of living down in the country. you politicians are eating and enjoying your lavish life with all what we paying as tax from A>Z. also you feed free not only monks as well as all Sinhalese men who don't have oral power due lack of food and meat. then you'll talk about increasing your population.
ReplyDeleteநீங்கள் ஏற்றியுள்ள விலைவாசியில் எழு அல்ல பதினைந்து பெற்றுக்கொள்ளலாம். அவனவன் பிரச்சினை அவனவனுக்குத் தெரியும். மற்றவர்கள் (துறவி ஆகும்) உரிமையில் பேசுவது இலகுவானது. அதனால் பாதிக்கப்படுபவன் நிலைமை அவனுக்குத் தான் தெரியும். மனித உரிமையை மீறி அவன் சிறு வதாக இருக்கும்போது அவனது குடும்ப வாழ்க்கைக்கு ஆப்பு வைப்பதன் விளைவையே நாடு இப்பொழுது சந்திக்கிறது.

ReplyDeleteI am surprised to know that 20,000 to 25,000 Buddhist monks are there in Sri Lanka.
As I learned in general there will be one to one male to female ratio in a population. I believe monks don't marry and polygamy is not permitted in Buddhism. If so nearly 25,000 females are left behind in SL Buddhist community with out a pair.
I wonder what happens to them. It is obvious that each and everyone could not remain pure and 100% "virgin" (male or female unless they are very closely monitored) for life.
Hopefully there may be two negative impacts occur in the community due to this man made imbalance in natural phenomena. One, these females should have gone astray to relieve there natural need of a pair. You know the "community diseases" that results due to this. Or Two, they must have wiped off from the earth surface.
Sadly according to you SL Buddhist community has lost 20,000 to 25,000 eligible families those can produce off sprigs for the Buddhist community. Calculate the number of children that could be produced to the population by this number of families in their generation. Now you can realize the real killer of the SL Buddhist population.
I suggest that these monks could play a valuable role in maintaining the Buddhist population in this country.
It is just an idea.
You should encourage these monks to marry a woman in the early age and lead a healthy and safe family life. This couple may have around 20 years of fertile period. During this period they can give birth to 5 to 10 babies to the SL Buddhist community.
Say life span of a SL male or female is 70 years in average, In this period of time with the involvement of this "non-marrying" monks you can improve the SL Buddhist community by 3,50,000 to 12,00,000 in minimum and 4,37,500 to 15,00,000 to maximum. It is 7.1873% of SL population 2011.
Imagine, by this project how far you can improve the population of the SL Buddhist community! and protect your adults from communicable diseases and sexual harassment, your children from abuse thus improve moral values.
Get down form the thrown and jump in to action. Come on.
