Appeal for Financial Assistance for an Urgent Surgery to Make a Child Hear and Speak

 

This is baby M.R. Rafaha, my beloved daughter, from the above address. She is just one year and eight months old and having a severe loss of hearing. Hence she cannot speak as well.

Dr. Yasawardane, Consultant ENT Surgeon, has stated, after a series of tests that it is a must to perform the COCHLEAR IMPLANT SURGERY to make her hear and speak. Apart from this deafness, the doctor says the child is ‘bright and alert’ and the surgery, if done before the baby gets two years old, will definitely give her an extremely normal world.

 

The surgery, as per the surgeon, costs around Rs. 3.0 mn.

 

Since I am a government officer and my spouse is a house wife, and we have no other ways of earning, it is not possible for us to find such a huge amount, in a short period, on our own, to make our child hear and speak.

 

Therefore, we look for FINANCIAL AIDS to perform the surgery, before the end of August 2012. All the testing required have been done and all three vaccines, before the surgery, have also been provided. 

Every cent you contribute will, no doubt, increase the HOPE of giving a better future to my child, baby Rafaha.  The reward, for contributing to make this effort success, will be GREAT, Insha Allah, and it is only from the Almighty.
