கொழும்பில் உள்ள சுவிஸ் தூதரக பணியாளர் கைது செய்யப்பட்டதை அடுத்து. சுவிஸ் வெளிவிவகார சமஷ்டி திணைக்களம் வெளியிட்ட அறிக்கைக்கு சிறிலங்கா அரசாங்கம் விரைவில் பதில் அளிக்கையை வெளியிடவுள்ளது.
சுவிஸ் தூதரக பணியாளர் நேற்று முன்தினம் கைது செய்யப்பட்டதை அடுத்து, சுவிஸ் வெளிவிவகார திணைக்களத்தினால், சிறிலங்கா அரசாங்கத்தை விமர்சிக்கும், அறிக்கை ஒன்று வெளியிடப்பட்டது.
‘இந்த அறிக்கையை கவனமாக ஆராய்ந்து வருகிறோம், மிக விரைவில் சரியான பதில் அளிக்கை ஒன்று வெளியிடப்படும்” என்று சிறிலங்கா வெளிவிவகார அமைச்சு அதிகாரி ஒருவர் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.

Yes, this is a Democratic Socialist Republic Sri Lanka, yet for everything including a needle, we depend on other countries, Swiss is a country produces world class leaders for example, former prime minister of India Indra Gandhi is a product of a Swiss University where she followed a bachelor degree in leadership and management which enabled her to become a prime Minister of India, still Switzerland boasts of producing world class leaders, we unfortunately are not prepared to learn from other countries to make our lives better, Sri Lankan mentality is so naive, our mentality of ' ombe ammata' is the 'professional ' utterance we rush to address our enemies while they listen to us very carefully before taking any further steps to face the opponents. Though Sri Lanka is supposed to be in the leading in terms of literacy, yet we are far behind when we look into the advanced world.
