கொழும்பில் தேசிய மீலாத் விழா - மஹிந்த பிரதம அதீதி
முஸ்லிம் சமய, கலாச்சார திணைக்களத்தின் ஏற்பாட்டில் தேசிய மீலாத் விழா கொழும்பு தாமரை தடாக கலையரங்கில் நடைபெறவுள்ளது.
நகர திட்டமிடல் மற்றும் நீர் வழங்கல் அமைச்சர் எம்.எல்.ஏ.எம்.ஹிஸ்புல்லாஹ் தலைமையில் எதிர்வரும் 20ஆம் திகதி செவ்வாய்க்கிழமை நடைபெறவுள்ள இந்த நிகழ்வில் பிரதமர் மஹிந்த ராஜபக்ஸ பிரதம அதிதியாக கலந்து சிறப்பிக்கவுள்ளதாக தெரிவிக்கப்படுகின்றது..
குறித்த நிகழ்வை இம்முறை மன்னாரில் நடத்த திட்டமிட்டிருந்த போதிலும் நாட்டில் ஏற்பட்ட அரசியல் நெருக்கடி காரணமாக ஒத்திவைக்கப்பட்டது.
இந்நிலையில் முஸ்லிம் சமய, கலாச்சார திணைக்களத்துக்கு பொறுப்பான அமைச்சர் ஹிஸ்புல்லாஹ் நேற்று முஸ்லிம் சமய, கலாச்சார திணைக்களத்துக்கு விஜயம் செய்திருந்தார்.
அங்கு திணைக்கள அதிகாரிகளுடன் மேற்கொண்ட கலந்துரையாடலின் போது தேசிய மீலாத் நிகழ்வினை ஏற்கனவே திட்டமிட்ட தினத்தில் கொழும்பில் நடத்துமாறு சம்பந்தப்பட்ட அதிகாரிகளுக்கு பணிப்புரை வழங்கியுள்ளார்.

MEELAD-NABI... Was not celebrated by any of the following early Muslims
1. Prophat Muhammed - Did not do it
2. His companions (1st generation of Muslims) - Did not do it
3. 2nd and 3rd generations of Islam - Did not do it
4. Respected 4 Imaams of madahibs - Did not do it.
MEELAD---CELEBRATING BIRTH DAY is a SUNNAH of FIRAWN (Ferro), who introduced it to the world first ( read Wikipedia history on birth day celebration).
SHIA-FATHIMEEIYA in EGYPT introduced in to Muslim community for the sake of gaining favour of public on their government.
WE SRILANKAN SUNNI-MUSLIMS .. I am sure will not follow
1. The sunnah of Fir-awn OR
2. Misguidance of Fathimeeya-shia practice.
If still Few says..we will... We have no way stop them from following the sunnah of Fir-awn, except wanting them of punishment in following him.
MR attending this meeting is nothing surprising..since he has noting to do with TRUE ISLAMIC practices
