பொலிஸாருக்கு எதிராக றிசாத் சீற்றம்
தெஹிவளை பாத்யா மாவத்தை பள்ளிவாசல் தொடர்பில் பொலிஸார் மிகமோசமாக செயற்படுவதாக அமைச்சர் றிசாத் பதியுதீன் குற்றம் சுமத்தியுள்ளார்.
தெஹிவளை பாத்யா மாவத்தை பள்ளிவாசல் விஸ்தரிப்பு பணிக்கு பொலிஸார் தடை விதித்திருப்பது குறித்து அமைச்சர் றிசாத் பதியுதீனிடம் ஜப்னா முஸ்லிம் இணையம் தொடர்புகொண்டு கேட்டபோதே அவர் இவ்வாறு தெரிவித்தார். இதுதொடர்பில் அவர் மேலும் கூறியதாவது,
மகிந்த ராஜபக்ஸவின் காலத்தில் முஸ்லிம்களுக்கு எதிராக நிகழ்ந்த அக்கிரமங்களை பொலிஸார் வேடிக்கை பார்த்தனர். பொலிஸார் உடனுக்குடன் செயற்பட்டிருந்தால் அவற்றை தடுத்திருக்கலாம். தற்போது நல்லாட்சி அரசாங்கத்திலும் பொலிஸாரின் அந்த அக்கிரமம் தொடருகிறதோ என சந்தேகிக்கத் தோன்றுகிறது.
இனவாதிகளுக்கு அடிபணிந்து தெஹிவளை பாத்யா மாவத்தை பள்ளவாசலை பொலிஸார் ஒருதலைப்பட்சமாக நோக்குவது புலனாகிறது. பள்ளிவாசல் விஸ்தரிப்புக்கான தார்மீக உரிமையை முஸ்லிம்கள் கொண்டுள்ள போதிலும், அதனை தடுக்கும் வகையில் பொலிஸார் செயற்படுவதானது ஜீரணிக்ககூடிய விவகாரம் அல்ல.
இதுகுறித்து நான் முஜீர்புர் ரஹ்மான், மரைக்கார், பைசர் முஸ்தபா உள்ளிட்டவர்கள் அமைசச்ர் சாகல ரட்நாயக்காவை அவரு வீட்டிற்குச் சென்று சந்தித்தோம். அவரிடமிருந்த சாதக பதில் கிடைக்கின்ற போதிலும் பொலிஸாரின் அசமந்தப் போக்கு காரணமாக பள்ளிவாசல் விஸ்தரிப்புப் பணி தடைபட்டுள்ளது. இதனால் தறாவித் தொழுகையை நடாத்த முடியாத நிலை ஏற்பட்டுள்ளது. இந்நிலையில் அரசாங்கம் இதுதொடர்பில் துரித கதியில் தீர்வினைப் பெற்றுத்தர வேண்டிய பொறுப்பில் உளளது என்றார்.
Muslim politicians are now stooging the Yahapalana government and enjoying their best with their kith and kin and henchaiyas, by selling the VOTE BANK of the Muslims who have been deceived lock-stock-and-barrel. The Muslim Civil Society and Muslim Media organizations and these politicians will stage dramas by releasing "press statements" because all of them have been well taken care by the Yahapalana government and the foreign interests who are giving them large amounts of funding to keep their mouth shut. Like what happened in Aluthgama and Beruwela, Maharagama and Dambulla, they all will COVER up the TRUTH and the Muslims will be told a "LONG STORY. www.jaffnamuslim.com is doing a yeoman service to the community by publishing all the news concerning the issues of the community at large and the mosque matters which has a broad spectrum of Muslim and other community reading interest in recent times. Complaining about Mahinda Rajapaksa’s failure during the last regime or talking about meeting Minister Sagala Ratnayake at his residence along with MP Mujeebu Rahuman, MP. Marikkar and Minister Faizer Musthapa and the assurances given is NOT the political solution to these issues. This is what our Muslim politicians/parliamentarians did when Mahinda/Gotabaya were in power before August 2015. What is needed is that – all Muslim Ministers, Muslim Parliamentarians, Muslim Civil Society Groups, Muslim Religious Organizations, Mosque Alliances, Muslim Academics, Muslim Intellectuals and Muslim politicians should formulate a memorandum to be presented to the Minister of Muslim Cultural Affairs REQUESTING the Minister to SUBMIT a CABINET PAPER REQUESTING PARLIAMENT TO AUTHORIZE SRI LANKA MUSLIMS TO HAVE THE RIGHT TO CONSTRUCT THEIR PLACES OF WORSHIP ADHERING TO THE CIVIL AND ADMINISTRTIVE LAWS AND REGULATIONS OF SRI LANKA AS SPECIFIED WITHIN THE CONSTITUTION. If there are NO such laws in the present Constitution, then, under the proposed Constitutional Reforms, such laws have to be enacted/written under the “SECTION OF RIGHTS as “RELIGIOUS RIGHTS. It is time up that a NEW POLITICAL FORCE that will be honest and sincere that will produce "CLEAN" and diligent Muslim Politicians to stand up and defend the Muslim Community politically and otherwise, especially from among the YOUTH, has to emerge from within the Sri Lanka Muslim Community to face any new election in the coming future, Insha Allah.
