முன்னாள் ஜனாதிபதி மஹிந்த ராஜபக்ஸ இன்று முற்பகல் வெலிக்கடை சிறைச்சாலைக்குச் சென்று உதய கம்மன்பில மற்றும் மொஹமட் முஸம்மில் ஆகியோரை சந்தித்த பின்னர் ஊடங்களுக்குக் கருத்துத் தெரிவித்தார்.

Even though some say he is a BAD person, after benefiting much from him when he was in power, he has his HUMBLE qualities and is a GOOD person after all, a good STATESMAN. If Mahinda did NOT help cover-up the worst crimes and corruption and even suspected involvements in homicides committed by Muslim politicians from the North, Kandy, Eastern Province certain loud mouthed Colombo Muslim political characters, sons of eminent lawyers in politics and Muslim Political party leaders, notorious casino Muslim Mayors, all of them would have spent much more time than former MP Muzammil at Welikada or other prisons in the country during the Rajakaksa regime, if they have been brought before the LAW, Insha Allah. Mahinda is paying for those actions now, but the people who love him, the Sri Lankan majority Nation and some of the Minorities will bring him back to power again, Insha Allah. Let me relate a story of a very prominent Sinhalese/English Journalist who was an UNPer, worked for the late former Foreign Minister Laxhman Kadirigamar, came into the inner circles of Mahinda and campaigned for his elections in 2005 and 2010. During this period, he rose to the top in Media at Lake House, then in the Foreign Service as a Diplomat with full Ambassador status, was posted to Toronto, Canada, US/UN and then Australia during the last stages of the former regime. During the 2015 Presidential elections, he was in Colombo, but lethargic, but tried to destroy the image and good will that Mahinda had for the Muslim voters from his Muslim vote base. Mahinda was NOT willing to accept that discrimination. Then during the 2015 general elections this diplomat “BACK STABBED” Mahinda, but did NOT show it publicly. After the elections, this diplomat was recalled. He joined a popular TV channel and started to wash the dirty linen of Mahinda every day in a special programme. When the matter was brought to the notice of Mahinda Rajapaksa, the former president by a Muslim SLFP Stalwart close to the Former President in person and suggestions were made, that his false allegations in the electronic media should be countered – this is what the “HUMBLE STATESMAN” had to say. “OOTA DANGN LANKAWE MOKUTH KORANNA NE. RASSAAWAK NE. OYA MATTA MADA GA GAAWATH JEEWATH WECTHAADING. OYA OOWA NIKAN ARINA. MATA DANGN MINUSU KAWRUDOA KIYAA DANAWAA”. This is the REAL MAHINDA RAJAPAKSA, the “STATESMAN”. The good of a person has also got to be related when the need arises. This is NOT politics please. MUSLIMS SHOULD ALSO BE WITH MAHINDA AND HIS WELWISHES/POLITICAL CAMP, Insha Allah. We cannot put all our eggs in one basket as the late T.B. Jaya has advised the Muslim community during his time.
