பொது பல சேனாவின் செயலாளர் கலகொடஅத்தே ஞானசார தேரருக்கு எதிராக, கொழும்பு குற்றவியல் பிரிவினால் இன்றைய தினம் (09) வழக்குத் தாக்கல் செய்யப்பட்டது.
இஸ்லாம் மற்றும் முஸ்லிம்களின் புனித நூலான பரிசுத்த அல்குர்ஆன் குறித்து அவதூறாக பேசியதாக, கொழும்பு கோட்டை நீதவான் நீதிமன்றில் குறித்த வழக்கு தாக்கல் செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளமை குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.
கடந்த 2014, ஏப்ரல் 12 ஆம் திகதி கொழும் 02, கொம்பனித்தெரு பொலிஸ் நிலையத்திற்கு முன்பாக குறித்த அவதூறான அறிக்கை ஒன்றை ஊடகங்களுக்கு வழங்கியிருந்தமை குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.
