'யாழ்ப்பாண முஸ்லீம்கள் ஜனாதிபதி தேர்தலில், எந்தவொரு வேட்பாளருக்கும் வாக்களிக்க மாட்டார்கள்''
யாழ் மாவட்ட முஸ்லீம் மக்கள் எதிர்வரும் ஜனாதிபதி தேர்தலில் எந்தவொரு வேட்பாளருக்கும் வாக்களிக்க மாட்டார்கள் என முன்னாள் யாழ் கிளிநொச்சி முஸ்லீம் சம்மேளனத்தின் தலைவரும் சமூக சேவகருமான கே.எம் நிலாம் தெரிவித்தார்.
தற்போது நடைபெறவுள்ள ஜனாதிபதி தேர்தலில் மக்கள் யாருக்கு வாக்களிக்க தீர்மானம் எடுத்துள்ளனர் என வினவியபோது மேற்கண்டவாறு கூறினார்.
அவர் மேலும் கருத்து தெரிவிக்கையில் கடந்த கால யுத்தத்தின் பின்னர் மீண்டும் மீளக்குடியமர்ந்த மக்களின் அடிப்படை தேவைகள் இன்னும் சரியாக பூர்த்தி செய்யப்படவில்லை.அவர்கள் வாழ்வதற்கு காணிகள் முறையாக வழங்கப்படவில்லை.இந்திய வீட்டுத்திட்டம் கூட கிடைக்கவில்லை. எதிலும் பாரபட்சம் காட்டப்படுகின்றது.இம்மக்கள் இதனால் சொல்ல முடியாத சிரமங்களை அனுபவிக்கின்றனர்.
இவர்களை இதுவரை பார்ப்பதற்கு எவரும் வரவில்லை.அண்மையில் வெள்ளப்பெருக்கு ஏற்பட்டது.மக்கள் வெள்ளத்தில் மிதந்தனர்.உரியவர்கள் வந்து பார்த்தார்களா இல்லை.ஆனால் மக்களின் வாக்கு அவர்களிற்கு முக்கியம்.எனவே தான் எம் மக்கள் முடிவு செய்து விட்டார்கள் எதிர்வரும் காலத்தில் எவருக்கும் வாக்களிப்பதில்லை என்று. ஆகவே தான் மீண்டும் தெரிவிக்க விரும்புகின்றேன்.
எமது பிரதேசங்களிற்கு வாக்கு கேட்டு யாரும் வருவார்களே ஆனால் மக்கள் சரியான பாடம் கற்பிப்பார்கள் என தெரிவித்தார்.
Respected Muslim brothers and sisters of Sri Lanka: I would like to emphasize, we are citizen of this country (Sri Lanka) and we have to demonstrate our right and we have a duty to fulfill towards our country and our community. The impending election that awaits on 8 Jan 2015, it is our right to exercise the voting on that day. Every Muslims including ladies; young and old should exercise this election without fail. Wherever their votes; they have to move to that particular voting booth and cast their vote, in a respected manner. This is a very crucial election in the history of Sri Lanka. A vote can do many things; that will do better for the community and life too can be changed for future of the community. Casting our vote is our democratic process and it is our right. Choosing the candidate to vote is your choice and it is your will. You exercise your right in this election without fail. Inn Shaa Allah, we pray to Almighty Allah to guide us and to bestow the right ruler to govern our community and all of Sri Lanka.
