  1. Zuhair is a former SLMC MP and was an ambassador of Mahinda Rajapaksha govt to
Iran.Tarik Mahmood is a son of late Badiudin Mahmood.Only a one hundred percent
apolitical organization can stand up to threats of non Muslim organizations. There
could be some safety from organizations that listen to the rulers and the opposition but non-religious and non-political organization will attract more confidence from the
community because this will guarantee the intention of such organization to serve
    the community is unbiased.

  2. To the Sri Lankan Muslims, the President is “Apey Janadithithuma” too. In the present political scenario, the Sri Lankan Muslims have become “Political Orphans”. Concerning the Sri Lankan Muslims who represent 9.71%, the President had been misguided to ignore the “Muslim Factor”. As a Sinhalese Buddhist leader in a country where a little over 74% of the population is Sinhalese, what the President was doing was correct, that is securing the Sinhala votes in his vote bank while making sure that the issues of the majority community had his full attention. The Sinhalese are a little over 74 % of the population. HE. Mahinda Rajapaksa can then enjoy confidence that the majority of the Muslim votes will be casted for him if the Presient will be considerate to the Sri Lankan Muslims, within his political office and powers. The Sri Lankan Muslims want to be a part of HE. Mahinda Rajapaksa’s 3rd., term Presidential election victory. They do not need “brokerage Muslim political and community leaders. President Mahinda Rajapaksa has to reach them direct. The Muslim “POLITICAL OPINION LEADERS” should step out to help the President reach out to the Sri Lanka Muslim Polite/voters. The Muslim voters need true guidance now. It is not too late even at this junction. A POLITICAL ANALYTIC RESEARCH STUDY INDICATES THAT 50% OF THE MUSLIM VOTERS IN AMPARA WILL VOTE THE PRESIDENT IN THE FORTH COMING PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS, Insha Allah. The Muslims know that the President who is loved by the people will win again. The Muslim voters ask the LEADER to give them this opportunity.
