பயங்கரவாத தடுப்புச் சட்டத்தின் கீழ் ஆஸாத் சாலி கைது - மனைவியிடம் கடிதம் கையளிப்பு
கொழும்பில் இன்று வியாழக்கிழமை சீ.ஐ.டி.யினரால் கைது செய்யப்பட்ட ஆஸாத் சாலி பயங்கரவாத தடுப்புச் சட்டம் 122 ஆம் பிரிவின் கீழ் கைது செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளார். அவரை கைதுசெய்வதற்காக சென்றுள்ள சீ.ஐ.டி.யினர் ஆஸாத் சாலியின் மனைவியிடம், ஆஸாத் சாலியை கைது செய்வதற்கான கடிதத்தை ஒப்படைத்துள்ளனர்.
இதனை ஆஸாத் சாலிக்கு நெருக்கமான வட்டாரங்கள் ஜப்னா முஸ்லிம் இணையத்திடம் உறுதிப்படுத்தின.
இதேவேளை தன்னை பொலிஸார் கைது செய்யக்கூடாதெனவும், தனது அரசியல் இலக்குகளை சிதைப்பதற்காக சதி நடைபெறுவதாகவும் கூறி ஆஸாத் சாலி சில தினங்களுக்கு முன்னர் பிரபல சட்டத்தரணிகள் மூலம் நீதிமன்றத்தை நாடியிருந்தார்.
அதுதொடர்பிலான வழக்கு நீதிமன்றத்தில் எடுக்கப்படவிருந்த நிலையிலேயே ஆஸாத் சாலி கைது செய்யப்பட்டமை குறித்து அவரது சட்டத்தரணிகள் கவலை வெளியிட்டுள்ளனர்.
அதேநேரம் ஆஸாத் சாலி கைது செய்யப்பட்டு தடுத்து வைக்கப்பட்டுள்ள குற்றப்புலனாய்வு திணைக்களத்திற்கு முன் அவரது சட்டத்தரணிகள் அங்கு கூடி நிற்பதாகவும் மூத்த முஸ்லிம் ஊடகவியலாளர் ஒருவர் ஜப்னா முஸ்லிம் இணையத்திடம் சற்றுநேரத்திற்கு முன்னர் கூறினார்.
This is not just playing with Azath Saly. If he is wrong all the prison in Srilanka must have been filled with the members of BBS and many other politicians of the country. Many Bikkus and police officers too must be behind the bars. It must justice for all. This took so long as you were searching for laws under which to build up stories to arrest him. This is totally a political move. The world is watching the recent development in Srilanka and reading this comment.
