HOW MUSLIMS SHOULD THINK AND ACT..?
My Dear Sister and Brother I agree with your all concerns and views and its normally a doubt arise in every ordinary Muslim consumers when they buy they do not have some knowledge to understand about some codes which are used to denote the ingredients, but as a whole I think ACJU will release circulars time to time to our Community to make awareness which company products are Halal and which are not Halal as they done before. So if there any changes or if any companies will no longer verified they will inform all the Muslim as it’s a major and very pivotal role of them to save Muslim community from eating forbidden products and services. I think it’s very clear I clarified to you to make understand of how its work.
We as a Muslim community living as minority under a major non Muslim community it’s the decision the ACJU have taken if we analysed the facts behind this decision you will understand its perfect end for all you will find at the end of this article why ACJU made such a decision. we (the ACJU) as Muslims never give up and didn't give up the right of consuming Halal foods, but we said the Logo only not important and they remain active on their jobs they remain active on monitoring, verifying, testing, and delivering as Halal to the Sri Lankan Muslim community. Any how they should need to obtain a Halal Logo when any companies export intentionally and it’s a major role deciding the demand and supply of a product normally for any countries not only for Middles East especially for Western Countries like UK, Germany and France. In Europe there we can strictly say there are no any big demands or can say no demands for Sri Lankan products such as biscuits, Milk Powder, Coconut Milk powder etc.
They don’t want to buy and because in Europe there are many cheap and alternative solutions available rather than buying imported products from Sri Lanka, India or any Asian countries the key reason is the price is comparably very high than local products and Europe there are a very strict and clean verification system is active for issuing Halal certificates, Kosher certificates for Jews or suitable for vegetable certificates for Vegans. Suppose in case any Muslims who are not Sri Lanka if they want to buy any consumable products they definitely look a Badge for Halal rather than Looking the price so in this situation there is a need for holding a Halal Logo they do not know the situation and the current Halal authorization methods of Sri Lanka. So as a Muslim and as a Sri Lankans if our international business doing well mean our country’s economy also performing well. I have to include some key performance indicators and major advantages of export to country specially developing countries like Sri Lanka those are,
· national currency rate against international currencies will increase,
· increase in international currency revenue to the country,
· export values will increase against import,
· opportunities for new foreign investments,
· enhance the domestic competitiveness between local trades
· gains global market share
· reduce dependency and opportunities trade expansions
· domestic inflation will slope down
· creations of new domestic job opportunities
So we can pile many advantages of International trade one by one as much as (export only).
We as a Muslim we should proud we are contributing a major role in our Sri Lankan economy than any other communities or even the Buddhist communities ever done before using a basic ritual rights of Islam.
Another main victory we achieved due to this Halal issue is we resolved the problem without any life lost, property loss, or being carrying any weapons. We can clearly assume that there is a conspiracy behind each and every actions of calling Buddhist extremist institution (Bodu Bala Sena) they are freely active without any legal obstacles by the current government of Sri Lanka and it’s flashed that they running under a high commanding personnel indirectly. They might be wanted Muslims should take killing weapons and rebellion activities against the government or the BBS in long term or short term period because of Halal concern in Sri Lanka which is human rights of Muslims and our religion to perform freely without any barriers in any situation. Or for solely commercial purposes who are running businesses without a Halal Label and who cannot gain such an approvable because the kind of business what they doing and the businesses who cannot achieve international trade beneficiaries because they haven’t got a Halal certificate and it’s very hard to open international trade even if they got already ISO or SLS or any other quality control certificates. But we didn’t fulfil their hopes if theirs intention were only for test our reaction who it will be. So we won and we will continuously win until we reach our destination if we think and act as diplomatically, situational and visionary. We proofed that Muslims in Sri Lanka are very visionary and educative and thoughtful
We shouldn’t allow them to build a false impression in their minds as Muslims are terrorists and welcoming war and sword for each and every problems time to time it arise. So it’s a major responsible of all Muslims to love coexistence, peace and unity in our country to live in peace with another community or others despite differences
Jazakallah

ReplyDeleteThis is a nice article to follow its contents if we(SL MUSLIMS) are allowed to practice our religion freely. but after this kind of incidents and Anti Muslim policy of the Current Government the only way is to reject the products which are not carrying Halal Logo or Halal certified stamps. An ordinary Muslim doesn't have that much knowledge to identify Halal products by codes or the time to time decisions taken by ACJU will not reach each and every Muslim in the country.another question is will this BBS or government allow the ACJU for testing, verifying and monitoring.we cant assume or thing anything and make decision based on imagination.SO WE AS MUSLIMS IN SRI LANKA LET REJECT THE PRODUCTS WITHOUT HALAL CERTIFICATION.
