150 இலட்சம் ரூபாவை நஷ்டஈடு கேட்டு, பௌத்த தேரருக்கு எதிராக அலிசப்ரி வழக்கு
ஜனாதிபதி சட்டத்தரணி அலி சப்றிக்கு எதிராக வெறுப்புச் பேச்சுகள் நிகழ்த்திய, மெடில்ல பஞ்ஞாலோக தேரருக்கு கொழும்பு மாவட்ட நீதவான் தடை உத்தரவு ஒன்றைப் பிறப்பித்தார்.
தேரரின் செயற்பாடு தனக்கு அதிருப்தியை ஏற்படுத்துவதாக கூறி, அலி சப்றி 150 இலட்சம் ரூபாவை நஷ்டஈடாக கொழும்பு மாவட்ட நீதிமன்றத்தில் வழக்குத் தாக்கல் செய்திருந்தார்.
மாவட்ட நீதவான் அமாலி ரணவீர் இந்த உத்தரவைப் பிறப்பித்தார்.
சமூக ஊடகம், அச்சு இலத்திரனியல் ஊடகங்களிலே வெறுப்புப் பேச்சுகளை பேசுவதற்கு தடை விதிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. இதனை மீறினால் நீதிமன்றத்தை அவமதித்தாக குற்றம் சுமத்தப்படுகின்றது என நீதவான் அறிவித்தார்.

Mahinda Rajapaksa new government should come forward to launch a political campaign to harness the Muslim vote bank to support the SLPP/POTTUWA at the next general elections. Had the chance of meeting him in person a decade or so back in his office. The chance of’ his going after the Mottu’ was extremely remote according to my own assessment of his ability and …. it would have been ‘the other way around’!

Mr. GR, having been a minority in the USA for quite some time and having had the personal experience of living among the majority, he knows the whole issue. To become a ‘change agent’ one should reach the chair. ‘Reaching the chair’ demands a ‘process’ which he or any one has to follow, no other alternatives! He has now reached ‘the Chair’; and making himself confortable by bringing his people whom he can trust. It is so happened that most of his life was among the military personals which is construed as ‘militarization’ by those who ‘lost the battle for the chair’.. It is obvious.
Mr. Ali may be the ‘chosen one’ to bring justice to the minorities in this country. Impartiality is what is sought out since independence and not Supremacy.
