பௌத்த பிக்குகளை அரசியலில் இருந்து விலகுமாறு வலியுறுத்தி ஒருவர் சாகும் வரையான உண்ணாவிரதப் போராட்டத்தை ஆரம்பித்துள்ளார்.
ஹிங்குராணை நகரில் மணிக்கூட்டு கோபுரத்திற்கு அருகில் இந்த நபர் இன்று -06- இந்த உண்ணாவிரதப் போராட்டத்தை ஆரம்பித்தள்ளார்.
பிக்குமார் அரசியலில் இருந்து விலகும் வரை தனது உண்ணாவிரதப் போராட்டத்தை கைவிடப் போவதில்லை எனவும் அவர் கூறியுள்ளார். சோராச்சிலாகே டொன் டிலான் தாரக என்ற இளைஞரே இந்த உண்ணாவிரதப் போரட்டத்தை மேற்கொண்டுள்ளார்.
Excellent. Send all Monks to Jungle or inside Temple not to Parliament or Palace.
