மானங்கெட்ட அரசும் அதிகாரமும் கைகளில் இருப்பதால் உங்களின் வீரம் ஏழைகளிடமும் அன்றாடகாய்ச்சிகளிடமும் தான் கோழைத்தனமாக காட்டுவீர்கள்.

மாடு,மனிதன் மற்றும் எல்லா உயிரிணங்களையும் ஒரே இறைவன்தான் படைத்தான்.அந்த இறைவன் மனிதனையே மற்ற படைப்பினங்களைவிட சிறந்த படைப்பினமாகப் படைத்துள்ளான்.மனிதத் தேவைக்காகவே எல்லாவற்றையும் படைத்துள்ளான்.ஆனால் மனிதரில் சிலர் மிருகத்தைவிட மோசமாக நடந்து கொள்கின்றனர்.எல்லா மனிதர்களும் ஒருநாள் இறைவன் முன்னிலையில் விசாரணைக்காக ஒன்று கூட்டப்படுவர்.அப்போது அநீதி இழைக்கப்பட்டவர்களுக்கு நியாயம் கிடைக்கும்.அநீதி இழைத்தவர்களுக்கு தன்டணை கிடைக்கும்.

If you ask me if I was Tamil- I am not ashamed to admit 'Yes, and of course I am Tamil!' and probably I will be the ONLY ONE to have the guts to do that, Masha Allah, unlike the rest of the Muslims from Sri Lanka whose mother tongue is Tamil and if you ask them 'Are you Tamil?' they would go 'No.. No... I am not Tamil, I am a Muslim!'. Now go out, ask people and verify that for yourself until your 'SO STUPIDLY RACIST JUDGMENTAL BRAIN' trained to learn and say 'What Tamil, Muslim? I don't believe I am obligated to provide you with my identity to prove myself to someone that does not have the guts and the right kind of wisdom go with his real name online, however, I want you know that I was born in Sri Lanka, my mother's tongue was Tamil; so I spoke only Tamil and I studied in Tamil- You see, I am Tamil. Having said that, I do not want my child get to see a picture in a news like this. Neither do I want to read a news like this. This is happening elsewhere in India, I don't know/can't be sure of the authenticity of this news and as an individual living thousands of kilometer away from this incident- I can not do anything about this but praying to God. This should be left to the Muslim society/politicians pertaining to that particular region. Media causes only harm than good by publishing news like this, if they don't have quality news to publish, they can just relax and take a break- my opinion. I thought Jaffna Muslim was unique and wise!

Surah 22 verse 78 பாருங்கள். அல்லாஹ்தான் அவனை பின்பற்றுகிறவர்களை " முஸ்லிம்" என பெயரிட்டுள்ளான். ஆகவே நாம் எங்களை " முஸ்லிம்" என்றுதான் அறிமுகப்படுத்திக்கொள்ளவேண்டும்.
ஒரு தமிழ்பற்று மிகுந்த ஒரு முஸ்லிம் வியாபாரி தனது இஸலாமிய பெயரை தமிழில் மொழி பெயர்த்து அழைக்கத்தொட்ஙகினார், இவர் தமிழ் கிராமங்களுக்கு வியாபார விடயமாக செல்வது வழக்கம் அங்கு இவரை தமிழ் பெயர்கொண்டுதான் மக்களுக்கு தெரியும்.அவ்வாறு ஒரு சந்தர்ப்பத்தில் அவர் அந்த தமிழ் ( இந்து) இறந்ததுவிட்டார். இவரின் தமிழ்பெயர்மட்டுமே அவர்களுக்கு தெரிந்ததால் , இவரின் சொந்த ஊர் கூட தெரிந்திருக்கவில்லை. மேலும் பின் அவரை அக்கிராமத்து வாசிகள் இந்துமத முறைப்படி எரித்துவிட்டார்கள். இது நான் 18 வருடங்களுக்கு முன் O/L செய்யும் போது எனது இஸலாமிய ஆசிரியர் சொன்ன கதை..

If you still didn't get it, let me ask you:
If you were asked 'Are you Tamil?', will you say
- Yes! I am!!
- No, I am not Tamil but I am a muslim.

Go figure that out for yourself. Thank you for referring the quran verses to me. I am not ashamed to admit that I am Tamil; I am not ashamed to admit that I am a Muslim either. It all depends on the question.
The issue is not 'preference'. It is about 'denying your own roots'. I don't think I make my mother proud when I say 'No I am NOT Tamil but I am muslim!'

Ok I will ask you in easier way. Suppose a Sinhalese guy comes and ask you( " Oya Demalada" ? ) Are you Tamil ? Are you going to say yes I am Tamil ?
According to your above comment you would answer " I am Tamil " isn't it ?
You can't apply your same principle in place you see? That's why Allah has taught out to identify ourself as " Muslim" in every occasion.
Now read the story my Islam teacher has told and the question I have asked and figure out yourself. Which is the best way.
The " roots " you are talking about remember we only have one " root" that is we came from Adam (alai) and (alai) he was a Muslim.

Mum may be Tamil but the father was Arab. That same mum may be from a different root. The same Arab father would have had a different root. "Family tree " can have different roots as the time evolved.
So the Creator knows better that us that's why he has told us to identify ourself as " Muslim "

Are they going to say yes I am- that I don't know- I dont know how limited their perspective and vision are, however, I don't think they can say 'No I am English' so obviously they have to say 'Yes I am!' and for a Muslim to respond 'No I am a Muslim' he/she must have been asked 'Are you Buddhist/Hindu/Christian?' and so on.
Your Islam Teacher, the story, the Muslim character in that story, and the way you weigh out my perspectives with all that and your question/s pertainning to that- ALL SILLY.
And again you started another concept 'ROOT' and I sit here and wonder- it only keeps getting SILLY. I was talking about my mother and you're going way back to Adam?????? I also don't like the idea of doing the 'Vithandaa Vaatham'(sorry, I don't know the right english term for that and I am sorry for writing in English- I can't write in Tamil). I am here to share and gain knowledge so we need to stick to the point without deviating from the subject.
I don't have to bring my offspring into this scene as he is out of all this misconceptions and limitations in Sri Lanka- I had my own share to the community I was born and raised- so I had to have my voice raised for them and it was inevitable I had to mention him. I am, masha Allaha, raising him in such a way that he will be identified as a Muslim just by his ACTS AND PRACTICES, and that he does not have to utter/declare that he is a Muslim.
Nice talking to you. If you ever be in a position to address a audience in the future, instead of mentioning 'Sinhalese, Tamil, Muslim', I would appreciate if you would say 'Oh my dear Sinhalese and Tamil brothers and sisters...' or 'Oh my dear Buddhist, Hindu, Muslim, Christian and so on brothers and sisters...'. That's my opinion, of course.
I still do have things to say in response but as I said, I do not like the idea of doing the 'Vithandaa Vaatham'(I think it's called 'jungle talk').
