நெலுந்தெனிய ஜும்ஆ பள்ளிவாசலில் குண்டுவெடிப்பு - விசாரணை ஆரம்பம், புலனாய்வாளர்கள் விரைவு
கொழும்பு - கண்டி வீதியில் அமைந்துள்ள நெலுந்தெனிய ஜும்ஆ பள்ளிவாசலில் இன்று (28) அதிகாலை 1.30 மணியளவில் குண்டு ஒன்று வெடித்துள்ளது.
மிகச்சிறிய பெட்டி ஒன்றில் வைக்கப்பட்டிருந்த குண்டே இவ்வாறு வெடித்துள்ளது. இதுதொடர்பில் துரித விசாரணை ஆரம்பிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. புலனாய்வாளர்களும் அப்பகுதிக்கு விரைந்துள்ளனர்.
ஜனாதிபதி மைத்திரியின் செயலாளர் உள்ளிட்ட உயர் தரப்பினர் இதுதொடர்பில் அவதானம் செலுத்திள்ளதாகவும் அறிவருகிறது.
The Muslim Voice vehemently denounces the attack on the Nelumdeniya Jumma Mosque by still to be identified elements and demands the Yahapalana government to take prompt action to bring the culprits before the law and give them the highest punishment in accordance with the criminal code/penal code of the country. To whatever the community these elements may belong, the government law and order institutions should act in a rightful manner to discharge their duties. NO political influences should be attempted to sweep under the carpet the crime and let go the culprits free.
