பாராளுமன்ற தேர்தலில் 150 பிக்குகள் போட்டி
இலங்கையின் நாடாளுமன்ற தேர்தல் வரலாற்றில் அதிகளவான பௌத்த பிக்குகள் போட்டியிடுவது இதுவே முதல் முறையாகும்.
பௌத்த பிக்குமார் தேர்தலில் போட்டியிடுவதால், வாக்கெடுப்பு நிலையங்களாக பயன்படுத்தப்படவிருந்த சுமார் 150 பௌத்த விகாரைகள் அதில் இருந்த நீக்கப்பட்டுள்ளதாகவும் ரத்நாயக்க மேலும் குறிப்பிட்டுள்ளார்.
எதிர்வரும் பொதுத் தேர்தலில் பொதுபல சேனா அமைப்பின் அரசியல் கட்சியான பொதுஜன பெரமுன போட்டியிடுகிறது.
இதில் கலகொட அத்தே ஞானசார தேரர் உட்பட அதிகளவிலான பிக்குமார் போட்டியிடுகின்றனர்.

ReplyDeletePrimary work of a Budhist Monk is to preach Dammah to the Budhist to make them as the followers of Lord Buddah. They seems to be doing everything other than preaching Hammad.
ReplyDeletePeople should reside whether Monk should be custodian of Temples or enjoy the luxury of Parliamentary privileges. If the voters are true Buddhist should reject them in total and make Ganasara to keep his dirty mouth shut
