தமிழ், முஸ்லிம் வாக்குகளே மைத்திரியின் வெற்றிக்கு காரணம் - ஆசாத் சாலி
மஹிந்த ராஜபக்ஸவின் தோல்விக்கும், மைத்திரிபால சிறிசேனவின் வெற்றிக்கும் வழிவகுத்தவர்கள் தமிழர்களும், முஸ்லிம்களுமே என ஆசாத் சாலி ஜப்னா முஸ்லிம் இணையத்திற்கு கூறினார்.
இதுதொடர்பில் அவர் மேலும் கூறியதாவது,
வெளியாகிக் கொண்டிருக்கும் தேர்தல் முடிவுகளின் அடிப்படையில், நோக்கும்போது தமிழர்கள், முஸ்லிம்கள் அதிகமாக வாழும் பிரதேசங்களிலேயே மைத்திரிபால சிறிசேன வெற்றியீட்டி வருகிறார். இதன்மூலம் மஹிந்தவின் தோல்விக்கும், மைத்திரியின் வெற்றிக்கும் தமிழர்களும், முஸ்லிம்களும் அதிகளவில் பங்காற்றியுள்ளனர் என்றார்.

Don’t heart them, without their contribution (their number of votes are more than us) Mithri couldn’t won this. Your statement may help the racist to create unwanted problems. Behave like gentleman and avoid this type of statements.
