எனக்கு வாக்களிக்காத மக்களுக்கும் சேவையாற்ற தயாராகவுள்ளேன் - கோத்தபாய அறிவிப்பு
எனக்கு வாக்களித்த மக்களைப் போன்று வாக்களிக்காத மக்களுக்கும் எனது தேர்தல் விஞ்ஞாபனத்தில் குறிப்பிட்டவாறு செயற்படத் தயாராகவுள்ளேன் எனவும், இலங்கை மக்கள் அனைவருக்கும் எனது சேவை உரித்தாகும் எனவும் இலங்கை ஜனநாயக சோசலிசக் குடியரசின் ஏழாவது ஜனாதிபதியாக தெரிவு செய்யப்பட்ட கோத்தபாய ராஜபக்ஸ தெரிவித்தார்.
தேர்தல்கள் ஆணைக்குழுவில் தற்பொழுது நடைபெற்ற புதிய ஜனாதிபதியை அறிவிக்கும் விசேட மாநாட்டில் கலந்துகொண்டு கருத்துத் தெரிவிக்கையிலேயே இதனைக் கூறினார்.
The election of HE. Gotabaya Rajapaksa to the office of the 7th., President of Sri Lanka on the 16th., of November 2019 is a happy day for those Sri Lankans who love their "Maathruboomiya", Mother Sri Lanka, be they Sinhalese, Tamils, Muslims, Malays or Burghers.
