உள்ளூராட்சித் தேர்தலில் வடக்கு கிழக்கில் தனித்துப் போட்டியிடவே கட்சி தீர்மானித்திருப்பதாகத் தெரிவித்திருக்கும் ஸ்ரீலங்கா முஸ்லிம் காங்கிரஸ் வடகிழக்குக்கு வெளியே ஐக்கிய தேசியக் கட்சியுடன் இணைந்து களமிறங்குவதற்கு இணக்கம் கண்டிருப்பதாக ஸ்ரீலங்கா முஸ்லிம் காங்கிரஸ் தலைவர் அமைச்சர் ரவூப் ஹக்கீம் தெரிவித்தார்.
கடந்த சில நாட்களாக ஐக்கிய தேசியக் கட்சியுடன் தொடர்ந்து பேச்சுவார்த்தையில் ஈடுபட்டு வரும் முஸ்லிம் காங்கிரஸ் தலைமைத்துவம் வட கிழக்குக்கு வெளியே முஸ்லிம்கள் சிதறுண்டு காணப்படுவதால் எமது பிரதிநிதித்துவத்தை ஓரளவாவது தக்கவைத்துக் கொள்ளும் பொருட்டே ஐக்கிய தேசியக் கட்சியுடன் இணைந்து போட்டியிட முடிவெடுத்திருப்பதாக கட்சித் தலைவர் அமைச்சர் ரவூப் ஹக்கீம் தெரிவித்தார்.உள்ளூராட்சி சபைகளில் எல்லை நிர்ணயம் காரணமாக பல இடங்களிலும் முஸ்லிம்களின் வாக்குகள் பரிந்து காணப்படுவதால் அவற்றை வென்றெடுப்பதற்கு வியூகம் அமைத்தே செயற்பட வேண்டியிருப்பதாகவும் அமைச்சர் சுட்டிக்காட்டியுள்ளார்.
அனைத்து உள்ளூராட்சி சபைகளிலும் கூட்டாக இணைந்து போட்டியிடுவது குறித்தே ஐக்கிய தேசியக் கட்சியின் நிலைப்பாடாகக் காணப்படுகின்ற போதிலும் நாம் வடக்கு> கிழக்கில் தனித்துப் போட்டியிடுவதென்ற உறுதியான நிலைப்பாட்டையே எடுத்துரைத்துள்ளோம். முஸ்லிம் காங்கிரஸின் இருப்பை வடகிழக்கில் உத்தரவாதப்படுத்திக்கொள்ள வேண்டிய கட்டாயக் கடப்பாடு கட்சிக்கு இருப்பதை நாம் அவர்களுக்கு தெளிவுபடுத்தியிருக்கின்றோம்.
வடகிழக்குக்கு வெளியே ஐக்கிய தேசியக் கட்சியுடன் இணைவதன் மூலம் கூடுமான வரை எமது சார்பிலான முஸ்லிம் வேட்பாளர்களுக்கு வாய்ப்பளிக்கப்பட வேண்டுமெனக் கேட்டிருக்கிறோம். அதற்கு ஐ.தே.க. சாதகமான சமிக்சையை வெளிப்படித்திருப்பதாகவும் அமைச்சர் ஹக்கீம் தெரிவித்தார்.
இதேவேளை> கட்சி அமைப்பாளர்கள்> முக்கியஸ்தர்களுடன் என சந்திப்புக்களின் போது கடந்த கால குறைபாடுகளை மறந்து அனைவரும் ஒன்றுபட்டுச் செயற்பட வேண்டுமென அவர் வேண்டுகோள் விடுத்துள்ளார். இனிமேல் பிரதேச அமைப்பாளர்கள் எவரும் தேர்தலில் போட்டியிட முடியாதென்ற தீர்மானத்தை நாம் எடுத்திருப்பதாகவும் தேர்தலில் போட்டியிட விரும்பினால் அவர்கள் அமைப்பாளர் பதவியை துறக்க வேண்டுமென்ற முடிவை தான் அறிவித்திருப்பதாகவும் குறிப்பிட்டார்.

As the signs for the local government elections are emerging, the HYPOCRITIC and DECEPTIVE Muslim political leaders like SLMC Leader Rauf Hakeem has started to publish deceptive “STATEMENTS” to hoodwind the poor humble Muslim voters, especially in the Eastern Province. Rauf Hakeem will now start to PROWL thickly populated Muslim rural villages to tell the long stories and mislead the INNOCENT Muslim voters to vote them to power. One deceptive hoodwinking story to the Muslims in the Eastern Province and another deceptive hoodwinking story to the Muslims living outside the Eastern Province. Wiping up communal and religious themes, these politicians finally do all they can to become elected by the people hoodwinking the poor "PAMARAMAKKAL", the Muslim voters? Let the Muslims (PAMARAMAKKAL) of the Eatern Province and the Muslims living outside the Eastern Province NOT get duped once again, Insha Allah. Muslims in Sri Lanka do NOT have a voice - a POLITICAL VOICE for that purpose. The SLMC is dead. The ACMC is busy making money, the Muslim politicians stooging the UNP are ONLY interested in their personal benefits. The ungrateful Muslim politicians who benefited the most from Mahinda Rajapaksa, Basil Rajapaksa and Gotabaya Rajapaksa are now stooging the Yahapalana government and enjoying their best with their kith and kin and henchaiyas, by selling the VOTE BANK of the Muslims who have been deceived lock-stock-and-barrel. The Muslim Civil Society and Muslim Media organizations (excluding www.jaffanamuslim.com) in Sri Lanka and their leaders will stage dramas by releasing "press statements" because all of them have been well taken care by the Yahapalana government and the foreign interests who are giving them large amounts of funding to keep their mouth shut. Like what happened in Aluthgama and Beruwela, Maharagama and Dambulla, they all will COVER up the TRUTH and the Muslims will be told a "LONG STORY. WHY HAS NOT THIS unscrupulous UNDEMOCRATICALLY SELF ACCLAIMED SLMC LEADER HAS NOT CALLED FOR A PRESIDENTIAL COMMISSION OR A HIGH LEVEL INQUIRY BY THE YAHAPALAN GOVERNMENT ON THE ALUTHGAMA and BERUWELA VIOLENCES/INCIDENCES UP TO NOW? It is time up that a NEW POLITICAL FORCE that will be honest and sincere that will produce "CLEAN" and diligent Muslim Politicians to stand up and defend the Muslim Community politically and otherwise, especially from among the YOUTH, has to emerge from within the Sri Lanka Muslim Community to face any new election in the coming future, Insha Allah. The Muslims of The Eastern Province are most capable of doing it and the YOUTH of the EASTcan lead this cause, Insha Allah. “The Muslim Voice” is sure that they can take this challenge forward, Insha Allah and close the doors for the DEAD SLMC, The UNP and the ACMC not to enter the Eastern Province or any district with deceptions, Insha Allah.
