நாட்டில் மாடறுப்பை தடை செய்வது குறித்து பிரதமர் மஹிந்த ராஜபக்ச முன்மொழிந்த யோசனையை ஆளும் கட்சி பாராளுமன்ற உறுப்பினர்கள் அங்கீகரித்துள்ளதாக தெரிவிக்கப்படுகிறது.
மேலும் தேவை ஏற்படின் வெளிநாட்டில் இருந்து மாட்டிறைச்சி இறக்குமதி செய்வது குறித்த வேலைத்திட்டம் ஒன்றை உருவாக்கலாம் என்று பிரதமர் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.

ReplyDeleteஅதே மாடு அறுப்பை இலங்கையில் அல்லாமல் ஏனைய பகுதியில் மாடு அறுப்பை அனுமதிப்பது இலங்கையில் உள்ள இந்த புத்திசாலிகள் எவ்வாறு ஏன் அனுமதிக்கின்றார்கள்?
இலங்கையை தவிர ஏனை பகுதிகளில் உள்ள மாடுகளை இவர்கள் புனிதப்படுத்துவதில்லையா?
அல்லது அந்த பகுதிகளில் மாடுகளை அறுத்தால் அது உயிர்வதையாக கருதமாட்டார்களா?

எனக்கு விளங்குகின்றது மாடு அறுப்பை இலங்கையில் நிருத்திவிட்டு இறச்சி இறக்குமதி என்னும் பெயரில் அந்த கொம்பனியையும் சிலர் தங்களின் இலாபத்திட்கு தன்னுடைமையாக்க முயற்சிக்கின்றார்!
Importing beef is business purpose. If it is a sin to eat meat then all animal slaughter is to banned. Why only beef is banned what about other animal meat ?

ReplyDeleteOur neighbouring country enacted a similar law a few years ago. The lawmakers were happy to see the cattle population growing. The milking ones brought profit to their masters. The non milking cattle got liberated and they multiplied (not by reproduction, but by more and more un-useful cattle abandonment) . Nevertheless, they infested the country side and walkways. Metropolitan cattle too did so. Now, they learned to eat anything - garbage, paper etc. because they had to, they could not starve. By and by, the country gradually saw hungry, sick, dunging, disease carrying, dying, stinking, unattended, accident causing, some also causing the cursing mentality in people, eventually becoming one of the worst menaces of our poor neighbours.
ReplyDeleteUltimately they had to revoke the law. It took just a decade perhaps for all these happenings - to law and de-law the burning issues. For us Sri Lankans, the problem can be solved easily - with one minister each for the milking/profit-earning ones and another for those other cattle.
