அங்குனுகொலபெலஸ்ஸ சிறைச்சாலையில் கண்டுபிடிக்கப்பட்ட நவீன கையடக்க தொலைபேசி, அங்கு தடுத்து வைக்கப்பட்டுள்ள ரஞ்சன் ராமநாயக்கவுக்கு சொந்தமானதென கண்டுபிடிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
யாரோ ஒரு நபருக்கு ஈசி கேஷ் ஊடாக 5 லட்சம் ரூபாய் பணம் செலுத்தி அதனை அவர் பெற்றுள்ளதாக இராஜாங்க அமைச்சர் லொஹான் ரத்வத்தே தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.
குறித்த சம்பவம் தொடர்பில் விசாரணை ஒன்றை நடத்துவதற்கு குற்ற விசாரணை திணைக்களத்திடம் ஒப்படைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளதாக இராஜாங்க அமைச்சர் குறிப்பிட்டுள்ளார்.
இந்த குற்றம் உறுதி செய்யப்பட்டால் ரஞ்சன் ராமநாயக்கவுக்கு சிறைச்சாலை சட்டமூலத்திற்கமைய நடவடிக்கை எடுக்கப்படும் என அவர் மேலும் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.
The biggest social disease in Sri Lanka is the CORRUPT GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS. After the advent of the "free economy policy" of the UNP government in 1977, this social disease has spread alarmingly in the "PUBLIC SECTOR. The question the citizens have to ask regarding this news item is - HOW DID THESE ITEMS ENTER THE REMAND PRISON (Agunukolapalasa)? It is not the failure of the Prison guards, officials or the gate keepers. It is because these government officials/public servants have conived with the prisoners as a result of corrupt benefits gained and have allowed these items inside. Patriotic citizens are laughing to read the news that released by Spokesperson of Prisons, Commissioner Chandana Ekanayake said - "The Police Special Task Force (STF) and the prison officials had jointly conducted the raid". If the Prisons guards, officials and gate keepers had discharged their duties diligently and honestly, these items could have not "GONE" inside. This is "LOGIC". It is time-up that President Gotabaya Rajapaksa without wasting much time in "political storms in tea cups" put his foot down and "REPRIMAND" the government servants/public servants to discharge their duties/responsibilities diligently and honestly. 80% of all public servants and government officials seems to be corrupt. It has been clear in the manner they are bluffing the President during his “Discussion with the Village” during these events (which we are witnessing on National TV channels) covering up their deffects and "NOT" providing "TRUE" answers when questioned. NO PATRIOTIC GOVERNMENT OFFICIAL WILL DO THIS, LEAVE ALONE THE PRESIDENT, TO OUR MATHRUBOOMIYA. Minister Lhan Ratwatte has also got to be alert to this situation/reality.
