இலங்கையில் முஸ்லிம் ஜனாஸாக்கள் எரிக்கப்படுவதை கண்டித்து யாழ்ப்பாணம் முஸ்லிம் மக்களினால் சோனகதெரு ஐந்து சந்திப் பகுதியில் இன்று (25) கவனயீர்ப்பு போராட்டம் ஒன்று முன்னெடுக்கப்பட்டது.
இதில் தமிழ்த் தேசிய மக்கள் முன்னணியின் தலைவர் கஜேந்திரகுமார் பொன்னம்பலம், தமிழ்த் தேசிய மக்கள் முன்னணியின் சட்ட ஆலோசகர் கே.சுகாஸ், யாழ்ப்பாணம் பள்ளிவாசல் நிர்வாகிகள், உலமாக்கள், அரசியல் பிரதிநிதிகள், யாழ்ப்பாணம் முஸ்லிம் மக்கள் எனப் பலரும் கலந்து கொண்டிருந்தனர்.
