முஸ்லீம்களின் உடல்களை நாட்டுக்குள்ள அடக்கம்செய்க, மாலைதீவிற்கு கொண்டு செல்வது சாத்தியமற்றது - நளீன் பண்டார
கொரோனா வைரசினால் உயிரிழந்த முஸ்லீம்களின் உடல்களை மாலைதீவிற்கு கொண்டு செல்வது சாத்தியமற்ற விடயம் என ஐக்கிய மக்கள் சக்தி தெரிவித்துள்ளது.
ஐக்கிய மக்கள் சக்தியின் நாடாளுமன்ற உறுப்பினர் நளின்பண்டார இதனை தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.
இது பெருமளவு அரசநிதியை அல்லது பொதுமக்களின் பணத்தினை செலவு செய்யவேண்டிய நடவடிக்கை என குறிப்பிட்டுள்ள அவர் நாட்டிற்குள்ளேயே உடல்களை அடக்கம் செய்ய அனுமதிப்பதன் இந்த செலவினை கட்டுப்படுத்தலாம் எனவும் குறிப்பிட்டுள்ளார்.
விஞ்ஞானரீதியிலான தரவுகளை ஆராய்ந்து உடல்களை அடக்கம் செய்வதற்கான பொருத்தமான இடத்தினை அடையாளம் காணவேண்டும் எனவும் அவர் வேண்டுகோள் விடுத்துள்ளார்.
உடல்களை அடக்கம் செய்வது உலகம் முழுவதிலும் பின்பற்றப்படுகின்றது என்பதை சுட்டிக்காட்டியுள்ள அவர் அனைத்து தரப்பினரினதும் உரிமைகள் பாதுகாக்கப்படுவதை அரசாங்கம் உறுதி செய்யவேண்டும் எனவும் அவர் வேண்டுகோள் விடுத்துள்ளார்.
Burial in Maldives is the latest solution attempted and it is the brainchild of the President Rajapakse. This problem started almost 9 months back in March last during the first wave of Covid 19 and became quite acute 2 months back in October with the onset of the 2nd wave.
ReplyDeleteQuite interestingly, the Premier Rajapakse got interested suddenly last week and he was pushing for burial in selected places in the country.
One cannot but wonder why the President and the PM had to wait so long to show some interest in a matter which was of Utmost Concern for an Entire Community which forms 10% of the Population.
And it seems, the President and the Premier seem to be pulling in different directions with the former looking for a foreign country for burial while the latter has no such thoughts and sees no problems in doing the burial in Sri Lanka.
As far as the Muslim Community is concerned, it is extremely Unlikely that anyone will want the burial done according to the President's idea even if the Govt. insists on Cremation if the Janaza is to be done in Sri Lanka.
