திடீரென கோடீஸ்வரர்களாகிய அரச, ஊழியர்கள் தொடர்பில் விசாரணை
சட்டவிரோதமான முறையில் சொத்து சேகரித்து திடீரென கோடீஸ்வரர்களாக மாறிய அரச அதிகாரிகளின் சொத்துக்கள் தொடர்பில் குற்ற விசாரணை திணைக்களம் இரகசிய விசாரணை ஒன்றை ஆரம்பித்துள்ளது.
அதற்கமைய குற்ற விசாரணை பொலிஸார், மோசடியான சுங்க பிரிவு அதிகாரிகளின் கோடிக்கணக்கான சொத்துக்கள் மற்றும் அவர்களின் கணக்குகளின் விபரங்கள் பெறுவதற்கு நீதிமன்றத்தில் பீ அறிக்கை ஒன்று சமர்ப்பிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
அதற்கமைய சம்பளத்தை விடவும் எதிர்பார்க்க முடியாதளவு பெறுமதி வீடுகள், சொத்துக்களை வைத்திருக்கும் ஊழல் மிக்க அதிகாரிகளுக்கு எதிராக நடவடிக்கை எடுக்கப்படும் என உயர் அதிகாரி ஒருவர் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.
தற்போது குற்ற விசாரணை திணைக்களம் இது தொடர்பில் விசாரணைகளை ஆரம்பித்துள்ளது.
பொது மக்களின் பணத்தையும் சொத்துக்களையும் கொள்ளையடிக்கும் அரச நிறுவனங்கள் ஊழல் முறைக்கேடுகள் தொடர்பில் ஆராய அரச புலனாய்வு பிரிவுகள், இராணுவ புலனாய்வு உட்பட துப்பு வழங்கும் விசேட புலனாய்வு பிரிவுகள் இதற்காக நடவடிக்கைகளை ஆரம்பித்துள்ளன.
Seems Police, the Military and other Investigative arms of the Govt. are spearheading the Move against Corrupt Public Servants. It will be interesting to know who is the Authority who is behind this move.
ReplyDeleteNo doubt, this will be a Popular Action as far as the Gullible Public is concerned. But, what is the Reality? Is the Objective to Eliminate Corruption Altogether? If so, will that Objective be achieved by going after ONLY the Public Servants?
How about those Big Sharks, like Cabinet Ministers and those in Top Authority who Rake in Billions in Every Contract and Deal signed? How Fair and Right it is to go after Public Servants who are small fish while Turning a Blind eye to the Big Sharks?
Of course, it is too much to expect Justice and Fair Play from Politicians.
Not only Customs Department, but inland revenue, immigration, excise departments also must be investigated.
