தன்னை புரட்சியாளன் எனக்கூறும் ஹசன்அலி, முஸ்லிம் தலைமைகளுக்கு விடுத்துள்ள சவால்
முஸ்லிம் அரசியல் தலைமைகள் முடிந்தால், நாடாளுமன்றத்தில் எதிரணியில் அமர்ந்து அரசியல் செய்து காட்ட வேண்டுமெனத் தெரிவித்த ஐக்கிய சமாதான கூட்டமைப்பின் செயலாளர் நாயகம் எம். ரி. ஹசன் அலி, அதுவே முஸ்லிம் மக்களின் விருப்பமாக உள்ளதெனவும் தெரிவித்தார்.
இது தொடர்பாக அவர் புதன்கிழமை (20) விடுத்துள்ள ஊடக அறிக்கையில் தெரிவித்துள்ளார். மேலும் தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளதாவது,
முஸ்லிம் சமூகத்தின் தலைவர் அஷ்ரப் நாடாளுமன்றத்தில் எதிரணியில் அமர்ந்து இருந்துதான் முதன்முதல் அரசியல் செய்தார். எதிர்ப்பு அரசியல் எவ்வாறு இருக்க வேண்டும் என்பதற்கு முன்னுதாரணமாக அவரின் அக்கால பகுதி அமைந்து நின்றது. அக்கால பகுதியில் அவர் 118 நிமிடங்கள் நாடாளுமன்றத்தில் உரையாற்றி இருந்தார்.
அமைச்சராக அவர் பதவி வகித்த காலங்களில் மொத்தமாக 05 மணித்தி யாலங்கள் வரைதான் நாடாளுமன்றத்தில் பேசினார் என்பதும் இவ்விடத்தில் குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது. அவர் நாடாளுமன்றத்தில் எதிரணியில் அமர்ந்து இருந்து அரசியல் செய்த காலத்தில் பெற்று கொடுத்த நன்மைகள் என்றென்றைக்குமே மகத்தானவை.
அவற்றில் குறிப்பிட்டு சொல்லதக்க ஒன்றுதான் விகிதாசார தேர்தலில் வெட்டு புள்ளியாக இருந்து வந்த 121/ 2 வீதத்தை 05 சதவீதமாக குறைத்தார். அதன் நன்மைகளை தான் ஜே. வி. பி அடங்கலாக சிறுபான்மை கட்சிகள் இன்றும் அனுபவிக்க முடிகின்றது.
அரசாங்கத்தில் அதிகாரம் மிக்க அமைச்சு பதவிகளை வகித்த எம்.எச்.எம். அஷ்ரப், அரசாங்க தரப்பில் இருந்து அரசியல் செய்வது இறுதி காலத்தில் கட்சி போராளிகளிடம் இருந்தும், மக்களிடம் இருந்தும் தூர விலகி இருப்பதை உணர்ந்தார்.
அதனால், இனி மேல் எதிர்த்தரப்பில் இருந்துதான் அரசியல் செய்ய வேண்டும் என்று தீர்மானித்தார். ஆயினும் அதற்கு பின் எதிர்பாராத வகையில் மரணித்துவிட்டார். அவருடன் அந்த இறுதி ஆசையும் நிறைவேறாமலேயே போய் விட்டது.
ஆகவே இவர்கள் சொல்லிக் காட்டிய சம்பவங்கள் மீது இவர்களுக்கும் நிச்சயம் பங்கு, பொறுப்பு ஆகியன இருக்கவே செய்கின்றன.
இவர்கள் அவற்றில் இருந்து தப்பிக்க முடியாது. இவர்கள் அமைச்சு பதவிகளை அப்போது தூக்கி எறிந்து இருந்தால் வேறு விடயம். இவற்றை சொல்வதற்கான அருகதை நிச்சயம் எனக்கு இருக்கின்றது.
ஏனென்றால் நான் நாடாளுமன்றத்தில் எப்போதும் ஒரு போராளியாகவே, புரட்சியாளனாகவே செயற்பட்டு வந்திருக்கின்றேன். அதை ராஜபக்ஷ சகோதரர்களும் மிக நன்றாகவே அறிவார்கள். என அவ் அறிக்கையில் தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது
ஆமாம், நீங்கள் இப்போது கட்சியில் அங்கத்தவராக இருந்த காலத்தில் இப்படி ஒரு வார்த்தை பிரயோகமும் செய்து இருக்க மாட்டீர்கள் என்பது நிதர்சனம்

But the fact remains that the Muslims are politically "NOT UNITED", even when critical moments are faced by our community. The need at the moment is "UNITY" of the Muslims and this will be our strength in the future in all aspects of life, Insha Allah. For many years, the writer was stressing the need for "UNITY" among the Muslim Civil Societies and NGOs in their approach towards resolutions to humanitarian efforts and dealing with UN institutions and International Organizations on Muslim matters via lankamuslims@yahoogroups.com. It never happened, because every single group was "selfish" and worked towards their "agenda" and not for a "UNITED PLATFORM". So we failed then too.
Now the challenges are facing us politically and we seem to be breaking away in many directions. The majority of Muslims who voted Sajith Premadasa (Hansaya) DID NOT WANT TO VOTE HIM" against HE. Gotabaya Rajapaksa (Pottuwa), but did so because of the "DEMONIZED POLITICAL IMAGE" shown to them by our own Muslim political leaders like Rishad Bathiudeen and his MP's, Rauf Hakem and his MP's, Azad Sally, Mujeebu Rahuman (Cassim) and the TNA, which had the "TALKING POWER IN TAMIL" to pass a "wrong message" to the Muslim vote Bank, especially in the Eastern Province and Muslim polulated North and East of what HE. Gotabaya Rajapaksa's election "MANIFEST" was all about and the VISION of the new Sri Lanka the Pottuwa campaign was all about. Why did these politicians do so? The reality is that they feared HE. Gotabaya Rajapaksa will bring them before the "RULE OF LAW" for all the corruption they had done. But the MANIFEST was clear that there will be "NO REVENGE POLITICS". Those Muslims who understood Sinhalese and tried to understand the "VISION" have voted with HE. Gotabaya Rajapaksa. That is why "The Mulim Voice" claims the Muslims voted "POTTUWA" also in a substantial way.
Another election is expected soon, the general election, sometrime in March/April or sooner in 2020. The Muslim Vote Bank needs to be told what HE. Gotabaya Rajapaksa's election "MANIFEST" was all about and the VISION of the "New Sri Lanka" the Pottuwa campaign was all about. It may not be relevent to the General Elections, but it is the new foundation of politics in Sri Lanka for the future, Insha Allah. The Muslim Vote Bank will be acting on their own again and it is time that the Muslim Vote Bank should have a UNITED VISION to work with.

ReplyDeleteThe Muslims are like a "refugee ship/boat" drifting without a captain" in mid sea. This is special to the Muslims of the Eastern Province. It can be compared to the situation of the refugees fighting among themselves and the captain demanding their destination with respect to '"aspirations and inspirations". We can compare the ship/boat as the Muslim Political parties. The loud cries of the refugees are not heard to those in land (the government) The first large ship or cargo vessel that sees them will try and rescue them. If it is a pirate vessel, they will be plundered. If it is a good ship who understand their plight, they will bring them to safety.
This is where you as a seasoned Muslim politician and coming was the Eastern province has the duty and responsiblity to act immediately. YOUR POLITICAL CAMPAIGN SHOULD REPRESENT THE " GOOD SHIP". You should come forward to launch a political campaign in the Eastern province to bring together the Muslim Vote Bank and gather them to create a "New Muslim Political Culture". A culture that will create a political force which will be honest and sincere and produce "CLEAN"and diligent Muslim Politicians to stand up and defend the Muslim Community politically and otherwise, especially from among the Muslim Youth in the Eastern province. This has to emerge from among the Sri Lanka Muslim Community to face the general election next year, Insha Allah. It is now the right time to use the party: UNITED PEACE ALLIANCE as the political vehicle to make this happen, Insha Allah.
The United Peace Alliance should immediately call a "meeting for Unity" of all Muslim progressive and or others to gather together under a common leadership with you as the Secretary General, still of the United Peace Alliance to achive the goals, Alhamdulillah. "The Muslim Voice" is willing to be a partner with you and the United Peace Alliance in the new political journey, Insha Allah.
