ReplyDeleteDear speaker... you should be happy that all these 2000 places of worship has finally tunned in to the real and purely worshipping place of God who was worshipped by Adam, Ebraham, Moses, Jesus and Muhammed. Thanks God it came out of idle worshipping situation.

ReplyDeleteமுஸ்லிம்கள் மட்டுமல்ல, இந்துக்கள், யூதர்கள் எல்லாரும் கிருஸ்தவ தேவாலயங்களை விலைக்கு வாங்கித்தான் தமது மத்த்தலங்களை மேற்கு நாடுகளில் அமைக்கின்றனர். ஏனெனில், அந்த கட்டிடங்கள் மதம் நடாத்துவத்கான அரசாங்க அனுமதி ஏற்கனவே பெறப்பட்டுள்ளது. புதிய கட்டிடங்களுக்கு அனுமதி வாங்குவது மிகவும் கடினம்.

When Sri Lanka was ruled by Dutch and English, Christian missionaries with the blessings of the government started converting Sri Lankans as Catholics and Protestants. They used education and jobs as bribes. They built lots of Christian schools and provided jobs to those who converted themselves. Their main target was low cast people who were rejected by so called upper class Tamils as untouchables and the fishermen around the Island who were catagarised as Karaiyars by upper class Tamils. The untouchable system existed in the community made their mission success. More than 90% of SL Christians today were originally Hindus and Buddhists. May be this priest in the video one of them. He should look into his past before complaining.

•இவருடைய போதனையை கேட்டு இவருடைய கடவுளே கோபப்படாமல் இருக்க முஸ்லிம்களாகிய நாம் பிரார்த்திக்க வேண்டும்.

ReplyDeleteHowever, around same reasons, in those times Tamils became Muslims. 300-400 years back, a lots of Traders from Arabia used to come to SL. They stayed temporarily or resting for a while in SL coastal areas before starting their next voyages.
During these periods, these Arabics traders gave money and jewels to poor women in those areas to attracted them, and lived with them. Later they left to their countries. The 90% of the SL Muslim people today are the generation from the children of these Arabic traders and poor costal SL Tamil women. Same happened in South India too. Some of these people also later migrated to SL for business reasons.
