எதிர்வரும் தேர்தலே, இறுதித் தேர்தல் - அரசியல் வாழ்விலிருந்து ஓய்வு பெறுகிறார் மங்கள
அடுத்த பொதுத் தேர்தலின் பின்னர் தான் அரசியல் வாழ்க்கையில் இருந்து ஓய்வு பெறப் போவதாக அமைச்சர் மங்கள சமரவீர தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.
மாத்தறை பிரதேசத்தில் இடம்பெற்ற நிகழ்வில் கலந்துகொண்டு கருத்து வெளியிடும் போதே அவர் இவ்வாறு குறிப்பிட்டுள்ளார்.
மங்கள சமரவீரவின் 30 வருட அரசியல் வாழ்க்கை நிறைவிற்காக விசேட நிகழ்வு ஒன்று இவ்வாறு ஏற்பாடு யெ்யப்பட்டிருந்தது.
எதிர்வரும் பொதுத் தேர்தல் தனது இறுதித் தேர்தலாக இருக்கும் என அவர் குறிப்பிட்டுள்ளார்.
தற்போது எனக்கு 63 வயதாகின்றது. இன்னும் 5 வருடங்கள் சேவை செய்தாலே போதும். நாம் அனைவரும் ஒய்வு பெற வேண்டிய நேரத்தை அறிந்திருக்க வேண்டும் என அமைச்சர் மங்கள சமரவீர மேலும் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.

ReplyDeleteNot only MS in politics but also everywhere people can come and go when their goals absolutely fulfilled. But Mangala's motivation to enter politics is not been fulfilled. But what he has done in politics; absoliutely nothing in politics. Politics means to serve the Public General to achieve peace, harmony, reconciliation, communal co-operation, fighting against poverty and injustice, non-discrimination, Freedom to live and use their privacy, language, religion, trade, social respect, providing rightful rights to the minority, adhering social integrity at one’s intention – there are many other things to be elevated in this country at social level but no much politicians like Mangala Samaraweera in these days. Hon. Samaraweera entered Politics parallelly with Marhoom MHM. Ashraf. Both time Politics has much differences. At that time, politicians’ role very enjoyable but serving for people also. Those days, people were very sure getting back home on completion of their travelling. The main reason were at that time, there were no people like Ganasara and Athuraliya. That was the very reason. Country, although, has little bit of politically collapsed, there were no Communal War between communities. In the present days, there are unofficial Commandoes here and there, summoned meetings at the time of Emergency Law is been processed. All people are in the edge of sword. At this time, if a politician like Mangala says he wants leave politics, it’s a serious issue. Do not know and swallow, how far people will welcome this decision. He has to be here until the Social violence, or the communal war is been stopped totally.
