  1. these drug dealers have no religion. if a person believes in god he will never deal or use drugs. so, why we worry ? this problem has nothing to do with muslims or our religion. this must be explained to the country by our jamiyathul ulama without any delay i think because day by day the situation is becoming worse.

  2. Muslim countries such as Afghanistan produce most of it. Why? How? that is the question. there are so many factors behind this issue. local, regional and international force. it is not merely a Muslim problem. Do not try to do that. Yet, Islam prohibit it 100% and yet, today to deal with humanity needs an international plan? US is number one market for all South American products, So, you think we could control it ? who can not control it? It is all about a political will.

  6. ACJU has monumental responsibility to safeguard the society from this curse of drugs mafia.
ACJU must devise a rational mechanism joining hands with the government to root out this lethal crime from this nation. They should punish all criminals severely.

  7. The question is WHY? The Sri Lanka Muslim Community and its POLITICIANS should stand before a “MIRROR” and ask the question WHY? Let us face REALITY and the TRUTH (YATHAARTHAM).

    1. We Muslims are known for NOT leading the Muslim (Islamic Way of Life) bestowed by our belief and FAITH.

    2. We are (especially) the POLITICIANS) are NOT UNITED.

    3. We (especially the POLITICIANS) are DISHONEST, DECEPTIVE, SELFISH and CROOKED.

    4. Our dealings are NOT CLEAN with other Communities.

    5. We have BETRAYED the political leaders of the country who are so much loved by the MAJORITY SINHALA PEOPLE.

    6. We are ARROGANT and EXTRAVAGANT in our day to day life.

    7. We are SELF CENTERED and NOT COMMUNITY MIMDED.

    8. WE are OPPRTUNISTIC, especially in POLITICS. Our Muslim Politicians have back-stabbed the most loved Sinhala leaders like the former President after STOOGING to him and his siblings and politically destroyed them which the Buddhist, especially the Monks despite.

    9. We will “buy” anyone by our ill earned money power to get our things done, even against our community and its members.

    10. We practice the CULTURE of SMUGGLING and dealing in DRUGS as normal business though it is banned in ISLAM, and we think going to Mecca (making UMMRAH) purifies us from those SINS.
    11. Muslim clergy, some Muslim Ministers and some Muslim Civil Society operators and Muslim politicians are also engaged in the Drug business/distribution, and it has been publicly revealed in recent news broadcasts and media.
"The Muslim Voice" was correcting telling the about continiously "Insha Allah".
THIS IS WHY "THE MUSLIM VOICE" IS PRAYING IT IS TIME UP THAT A NEW POLITICAL/COMMUNITY FORCE AND A NEWS ULEMA/CLERGY LEADERSHIP THAT WILL BE HONEST AND SINCERE THAT WILL PRODUCE 'CLEAN' AND DILIGENT MUSLIM POLITICIANS TO STAND UP AND DEFEND THE MUSLIM COMMUNITY POLITICALLY AND OTHERWISE, ESPECIALLY FROM AMONG THE YOUTH/YOUNGER GENERATION HAS TO EMERGE FROM WITHIN THE SRI LANKA MUSLIM COMMUNITY TO FACE ANY NEW ELECTIONS IN THE COMING FUTURE, INSHA ALLAH.
The government should set-in-motion a full probe on the involvement of Muslims in the Drug trade and publish the results, while procecuting them, Insha Allah.
