முஸ்லிம்களின் புனித பூமியை, இஸ்ரேலின் தலைநகரம் என கையெழுத்து போட்டான் டிரம்ப்
ஜெருசலேத்தை இஸ்ரேலின் தலைநகராக அமெரிக்கா அங்கீகரிப்பதாக அதிபர் டொனால்ட் டிரம்ப் அதிகாரப்பூர்வமாக அறிவித்தார்.
சற்று நேரத்திற்கு முன்பாக, வெள்ளை மாளிகையில் உரையாற்றிய டிரம்ப் அமெரிக்காவின் நீண்ட கால பாரம்பரியத்தை தகர்த்து இந்த அறிவிப்பை வெளியிட்டார்.
மேலும், தற்போது டெல் அவிவ் நகரத்தில் இருக்கும் அமெரிக்க தூதரம் ஜெருசலேத்திற்கு மாற்றப்படும் என்றும் அவர் அறிவித்தார். அதற்கான நடவடிக்கைகளை தொடங்குமாறு அமெரிக்க வெளியுறத்துறை அதிகாரிகளுக்கு உத்தரவிட்டிருப்பதாக அவர் தெரிவித்தார்.
இந்த முடிவு மத்திய கிழக்கு பிராந்தியத்தில் நிரந்திர அமைதியை ஏற்படுத்த வேண்டும் என்ற அமெரிக்காவின் நீண்ட கால நிலைப்பாட்டில் இருந்து விலகிச்செல்லும் நடவடிக்கையாக கருதமுடியாது என தெரிவித்தார்.
அதே நேரத்தில், மத்திய கிழக்கு பிராந்தியத்தில் அமைதி ஏற்படுத்தவும், நிரந்தர தீர்வுக்கும் வழிகாட்டுவதற்கும் இந்த நடவடிக்கை உதவிகரமாக இருக்கும் என டிரம்ப் நம்பிக்கை தெரிவித்தார்.
இஸ்ரேலும், பாலத்தீனர்களும் ஒப்புதல் அளித்தால், இரு தேச தீர்வு திட்டத்திற்கு அமெரிக்கா ஆதரவளிக்கும் என்று டிரம்ப் தெரிவித்தார்.

முன்னதாக டிரம்பின் இந்த அறிவிப்பு தொடர்பாக கருத்து வெளியிட்ட பாலத்தீன தலைவர் மெஹமுத் அப்பாஸின் செய்தி தொடர்பாளர், ''இது ஆபத்தான விளைவுகளை ஏற்படுத்தும்'' என்று எச்சரித்துள்ளார்.
