Let me start by condaming the barbic killing of 5 years old kinza and 14 years old ameen, who fell to the bullet of indian army on the 15th of march 2017 in kupwara.

Human rights abuses have been a part of the campaign of the indian state against people of jammu kashmir ever since indian forces occupied the territory.

The oppression has been manifested in the following human rights abuses : ''extra judicial killings enforced disappearences, torture, rape, molestation and arbitary detentions.'' Like past years, 2016 was marked with extraordinary cycle of violence.

 Militarized repression and indiscriminate state sponsored violence coupled with blanket impunity to armed forces, an upward trend in human rights violations, in the form of extrajudicial executions, injuries, illegal detentions, torture, sexualviolence, disppearences,arson and vandalism of civilian properties, restriction on congregational religious activities, media gags, and ban on communication and internet services,ect.

The pallet guns used by indian forces has killed , blinded and maimed a huge number of kashmiri civilians.

A pallet gun cartridge can contain up to 500 such pellets. When the cartridge explodes, the pellets disperse in all directions. These metal pellets create a pattern 6 feet square at a distance of 60 yards from the place of shooting and hits anyone and everyone within the range.

They are less lethal than bullets but can cause serious injuries, especially if they hit the eye.

Like wise, I would like to bring to light about some information about childhood detention in palestine.

 According to the article number 1 from the children's convention, which sets the age of children under the age of 18 in accordances with international laws.

Since the year 2000 until september 2015, the israeli occupation forces have arrested 8500  palestinian children, and sentenced them with imprisonment and charging them with throwing stones.

 Israel is the only country in the world that prosecute children in military courts, where 500-700 palestinian children were sentenced to improsonment annualy in these courts.

The child prisoner is treated as the adult prisoners, they are treated cruely tortured, unfair trials and inhuman treatment which violate their basic rights by threatening their future violates the international law rules and the child's convention.

 The palestinian children prisoners' situation in numbers :

762 of prisoners children are from Jerusalem

7 children subjected to administrative detentions

443 children sentenced to prison

1000 child prisoners between 1st of october 2015 to 28th of february 2016

2179 detained child during the year 2015

The most brutal and ethical methods used with children in prison

1. severe beating and torturing during investigation.

2. Bring sniffer dogs during their arrest.     

3. Using them as human shields.

4. Transfering the injured to interrogation centers, despite their poor health conditions.

5. Isolate them in single cells deprive them from family and lawyers visits.

6. Handcuff sick and wounded prisoners in their beds at the hospital.
