இலங்கை ஒலிபரப்புக் கூட்டுத்தாபணத்தின் முஸ்லீம் சேவைக்கு ஒரு பணிப்பாளா் நியமிக்கப்படாமல் இருப்பதனையிட்டு நாம் மிகவும் மனவேதனை அடைகின்றேன். அதற்காக முஸ்லீ்ம் அமைச்சா்களால் முடியாவிட்டால் நான் அதற்காக குரல் கொடுத்து அதனை நியமிப்பதற்கு நடவடிக்கை எடுப்பேன். என அமைச்சா் மனோ கனேசன் இன்று முஸ்லீம்கள் மத்தியில் தெரிவிப்பு
இன்று (7) இலங்கை ஒலிபரப்புக் கூட்டுத்தாபணத்தின் முன்னாள் பணிப்பாளராக கடமையாற்றிய எம். இசட் அகமத் முனவரின் இலங்கை வானொலி முஸ்லீம் சேவை 1950 ஆண்டு இருந்து இன்று வரை என்ற நுால் வெளியீடும் 25 ஆலிம்களை கௌரவிப்பு நிகழ்வும் கொழும்பு பொது நுாலகத்தின் கேட்போா் கூடத்தில் நடைபெற்றது. இந் நிகழ்வில் அமைச்சா்களான றிசாத் பதியுத்தீன், பைசா் முஸ்தபா, பாராளுமன்ற உறுப்பிணா் முஜிபு ரஹ்மான், அமைச்சா் மனோ கனேசனும் கலந்து சிறப்பித்தனா்.
இந் நிகழ்வில் கலந்து கொண்டு உரையாற்றும்போதே அமைச்சா் மனோ கனேசன் மேற்கண்டவாறு தெரிவித்தாா். அவா் தொடா்ந்து உரையாற்றுகையில் - இங்கு உரையாற்றிய சிரேஸ்ட ஊடகவியலாளா் என். எம் அமீன் கண்னீா் மல்க ஆற்றிய உரையில் ” கடந்த நோன்பு மாதத்திற்கு ம்டும் முஸ்லீம் சேவையில் 3 கோடி ருபாவை விளம்பரமாக முஸ்லீம் வா்த்தகா்கள் கொடுத்துள்ளனா். ஆனால் பதியுத்தீன் மஹூமுத், அலவி மொளலான போன்றோா்கள் இலங்கை வானொலியில் முஸ்லீம் நிகழ்ச்சியயை இந்த அளவுக்கு கொண்டு வந்தனா். அந்த சேவையில் தற்பொழுது 10 முஸ்லீம் அதிகாரிகள் கூட இல்லை. அகமத் முனவா் ஓய்வு பெற்றத்திற்குப் பிறகு இங்கு இதுவரை முஸ்லீம் சேவைப் பணிப்பாளா் நியமிக்கப்பட வில்லை எனக் கூறினாா். தற்போதைய எஸ்.எம் ஹணிபா பதில் கடமையே ஆற்றி வருகின்றாா். இந்த அளவுக்கு முஸ்லீம்களுடைய ஊடகம் மத சம்பந்தமான நிகழ்ச்சிகள் உள்ளதாக மிகவும் ஆதங்கமாக தெரிவித்தாா்.”
நான் மொழி இனம் ஜக்கியம் சம்பந்தமான அமைச்சா் இலங்கை ஒலிபரப்புக் கூட்டுத்தாபணத்தின் முஸ்லீம் சேவைப் பணிப்பாளர் பதவியை பெற்றுத்தர நான் நடவடிக்கை எடுப்பேன் என அங்கு தெரிவித்தாா்.
It is heartbreaking and sad to read what the Minister of National Co-existence, Dialogue and Official Languages of the Yahapalan government Mano Ganesan had to narrate about brother N. M. Ameen - a Muslim/Tamil language Journalist, Executive Director of "Nawamani Newspaper (Pvt.) Ltd., President of the Muslim Council of Sri Lanka (an ad hoc Muslim civil society group), and President of the Muslim Media Forum making a speech where brother N.M.Ameen had sadly explained the pathetic present situation of the Muslim Programme of Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation (formerly Radio Ceylon). Minister Mano Ganesan stated that brother N.M.Ameen was full of tears when he made his speech to the audience attending a book release ceremony authored by brother M.Z. Ahamed Munawar (titled Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation since 1950 todate.)
ReplyDeleteWhat was the reason for brother N.M.Ameen to do so (make a speech in tears) regarding the pathetic situation of the Muslim Programme at the Sri Lanka Broad Casting Corporation?
1. Was it NOT the lethargic manner and "NON INTERESTED ATTITUDE ADOPTED" by our politicians and ministers have been engaged sincerely defending the "Cultural, Religious, Educational, Social, Economical and Constitutional responsibilities of the Muslim Community?
2. Why cannot we tell the Yahapalana government whom the Muslims voted en-block at the Presidential and General elections in 2015 that this is NOT the way to treat the Muslims in Sri Lanka, Insha Allah. Why should we cry and beg a Tamil Minister (please do not treat this as a communal statement, but look at its logic) to intervene in our vital matters with the government?
3. This is NOT that we Muslims are communal, but it is our legitimate and Fundamental Right, but our community leaders are now allowing “SOCIAL LAWS” interpreted by religious extremists to become “NORMAL or COMMON LAW”. Is it NOT?
4. If we can be the reason for the defeat of Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa's Government which was supported by the 3 Muslim Minority political parties, the SLMC, ACMC, National Congress and Muslims supporting the UNP, Muslim Civil Society, MCSL and the Shura Council, Muslim Religious Organizations like the ACJUM and bring in the new Yahapalana government, then these GROUPS should have the political vitality and vigour to thrash these issues of the Sri Lankan Muslims in the NEW Government parliament.
5. Are the Muslim Ministers Hon. Rishad Bathiudeen, Hon. Faizer Musthpa, MP. Mujeebu Rahuman and other leading Civil Society ashamed to listen to such an appeal being made by brother N.M. Ameen at this function?
BUT THEY CANNOT DO SO, because they have been taken good care by the Yahapalana Government by offering the best PERKS, EXPENSIVE DUTY FREE VEHICLES, JOBS FOR THEIR KITH AND KIN and HENCHAIYAS and BIG TENDERS. So they cannot talk about the Muslim Community ISSUES. That is why the Sri Lankan Muslims NEED a New Political Force that could create a New Political Culture to defend our Fundamental Rights and or Human Rights, Insha Allah. Nothing about RELIGIOUS RIGHTS has been set-out in the proposed "NEW Constitutional Proposal' and it is a SHAME that none of the Muslim Parties like the SLMC, ACMC or even the Muslim Civil Society had taken up this issue at the deliberations.

ReplyDeleteThe Muslim Voice also wishes to give a bit of advice to brother N.M.Ameen whom the Muslim Voice has much respect for, as a Muslim, but brother N.M. Ameen should not demean himself to such a low level, that he has to "CRY and APPEAL" for justice for the Muslims at Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation from Minister Mano Ganesan.
Therefore the Muslims do not have a political voice. It is true that we have allowed the affairs of our community to be taken control of unscrupulous, dishonest, deceptive, self-motivated, selfish, corrupt and manipulating Muslim politicians, Muslim political party leaders, Ulema and Media personnel, that has led our community to be considered as a 2nd., class community in Sri Lanka. In politics, we are considered as the “community of political naanaas who turn the way their Fez Cap turns” to support any political party that comes to power for the personal gains of the political leaders of the Muslim parties.
Therefore "The Muslim Voice" is praying/crying through all its COMMENTS, that a New Muslim Political Culture has to be born soon and that is the Political message "The Muslim Voice" is trying to send out, Insha Allah.
