இலங்கையில் நடக்கும் ஹெரோயின் போதைப்பொருள் வியாபாரத்தின் பின்னணியில் இருந்து அரசியல்வாதிகள் செயற்படுவதாக பிரதியமைச்சர் ரஞ்சன் ராமநாயக்க தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.
ஊடக நிறுவனங்கள் மற்றும் முன்னணி நடிகர், நடிகைகள் அதற்கு உதவுவதாகவும் அவர் குற்றம் சுமத்தியுள்ளார்.
மேலும் நாட்டில் மேல் மட்டத்தில் இருக்கும் சட்டத்தரணிகள் போதைப் பொருள் விற்பனையாளர்களை பாதுகாப்பதாகவும் அவர் கூறியுள்ளார்.
புதுக்கடை நீதிமன்ற நீதவான்களும் சட்டத்தரணிகளும் தூள்காரர்கள் என குற்றம் சுமத்தியுள்ள பிரதியமைச்சர் இவர்கள் போதைப் பொருள் விற்பனையாளர்களிடம் இலஞ்சம் பெற்றுக்கொள்வதாகவும் குறிப்பிட்டுள்ளார்.
