ஜனாதிபதியின் ஆலோசகர் அசாத் சாலி மற்றும் ஸ்ரீலங்கா முஸ்லிம் பேரவை தலைவர் ஆகியோர் தன்னுடன் பகிரங்க விவாதத்திற்கு வருமாறு பொதுபல சேனா அமைப்பு சவால் விடுத்துள்ளது.
முஸ்லிம் பேரவை பொலிஸ்மா அதிபருக்கு அனுப்பிய கடிதத்தை இறைத்தூதர் முஹம்மது நபி ஊடாக அல்லாவுக்கு அனுப்புமாறு ஞானசார தேரர் கூறியிருந்தார்.
இதற்கு கடும் எதிர்ப்பை வெளியிட்டிருந்த அசாத் சாலி, முஹம்மது நபியை அவமதித்தவர்களை கொன்று மரணக்கவும் தயார் எனக் கூறியிருந்தார்.
இதற்கு பதிலளிக்கும் வகையிலேயே பொதுபல சேனா மேற்கண்டவாறு கூறியுள்ளது. அந்த அமைப்பு மேலும் தெரிவிக்கையில், கடிதத்தின் பிரதியை அல்லாவுக்கு அனுப்புமாறு கூறியதால், அல்லாவுக்கு எப்படி அவமதிப்பு ஏற்படும் என்பதை தெளிவுப்படுத்த வேண்டும் என பொதுபல சேனா அமைப்பு கேட்டுள்ளது.
அத்துடன் புனித குர் ஆன் மற்றும் அல்லா தொடர்பில் விவாதத்திற்கு எந்த சந்தர்ப்பத்திலும் தயாராக இருப்பதாகவும் அந்த அமைப்பு குறிப்பிட்டுள்ளது.
இலங்கை அரபு நாடு அல்ல. எந்த விடயம் குறித்தும் விமர்சிக்கவும் பேசவும் இங்கு சுதந்திரம் உள்ளது. இதற்கு அல்லாவோ, புனித குர் ஆன் ஆகியனவும் விதிவிலக்கல்ல எனவும் பொதுபல சேனா கூறியுள்ளது.

அசாத் சாலி சொல்வதை அவர் ஒருபொழுதும் செய்யப்போவதில்லை, ஆனால் உசுப்பேற்றிவிட்டு இலங்கையிலும் இஸ்லாமிய தற்கொலைத் தாக்குதலை தூண்டுகின்றாரா அசாத் சாலி?

There is no deference between what this thug says and SLTJ’s secretary sometime back told about what Buddha has eaten. Some idiotic people and religious jokers in Muslims community, are the root cause for everything and responsible for opening door for current disgusting situation in this country.
ReplyDeleteIt is very much advice able to ignore the radicals in local level Medias and not to give space for their radicalized and hate activities or speeches. Otherwise, we will end up radicalizing young people, and the issue will spread and will be unstoppable.
The core issue must be taken to international levels and addressed. Muslim must not need to act to cover up to have good name in among majority or government when it comes to own issues or for the issues of Tamils like as we have seen in the past. Otherwise, Muslim will give everything into the hand of Majority and end of like what has happened now after the north-east war. This country must be put under a check for everybody to live peacefully.
The majority community feels that they are the only rightful owner of this country, many of them even feels that others must live under their grip. It is because of the unitary governing system. As long as the current unitary government system continue, the ethnic violence will keep on popping up time to time, unless the majority people realize that there are other community out there, living in this country with full right like everyone else and they are also part of ruling system. The only way to change this misconception is to change the governing system to federal system so that the majority will not feel that they are the only ruler and owner to this country.
There was a better chance to change the ruling system to federal in the past during the last Peace talk between government and LTTE, but I would say that Veluppillai Prabharan, the leader of LTTE, missed to use the opportunity and spoiled everything what he, himself and other Tamils build to the point where they were about to reach the goal.
Still there are chances, Muslim and Tamil can compromise in certain political matters and work towards to change the ruling to federal system as a solution for long standing ethnic issue.
