நல்லாட்சிக்கான தேசிய முன்னணி பாராளுமன்ற உறுப்பினர் ஹிஸ்புல்லாஹ்வுக்கு எதிராக இலஞ்ச ஊழல் ஆணைக்குழுவில் செய்த முறைப்பாட்டு தொடர்பில் - பாராளுமன்ற உறுப்பினர் ஹிஸ்புல்லாஹ் தனது சட்டத்தரணிகள் ஊடாக இலஞ்ச ஊழல் ஆணைக்குழுவுக்கு  கடிதம் ஒன்றை அனுப்பியுள்ளார்.

Dear Madam,

Regarding Mr. M.L.A.M. Hizbullah (MP)

I write on the instructions of my above client of No. 10/18, Lake Drive, Colombo 08, Member of Parliament and former Deputy Minister of Economic Development, who instructs me as follows:

a) that in or around 11.03.20015, persons identifying themselves as the National Front of Good Governance (we do not concede the existence of any such organization), are reported to have lodged a purported complaint with you, alleging several acts of misconduct and/or corruption on the part of my client;

b) that my client’s attention was brought to this matter by several reports in the media, which we reasonably suspect had been collaterally concerted by these same persons, as contained in the following publications:

c) that my client categorically and vehemently denies and refutes all such allegations as baseless, unwarranted without merit and brought about by malicious and collateral considerations, primarily aimed at tarnishing his image as a public figure and his political stature;

d) Observing the localization of the above publications it appears that these persons have a direct and vicarious intent to defame and cause harm to his future in political activity in the area of his electorate, at Batticaloa and his identified voter base;

e) that  due to the above misconduct by this group grave, irremediable and irreparable loss, detriment and mischief has been caused to my client inter alia for which unlawful and collateral purposes the aforementioned persons have used and abused your office and its legislated mandate, for irregular and unwarranted purposes;

In the premises my client is of the utmost earnest that immediate inquiries should be launched, not only to prove the baselessness of these allegations and their absence of valid intent, but also to take immediate necessary action by your office against these errant persons for their above deceitful malicious and illegal conduct in abusing your legislated authority. 

I shall be most grateful if you would grant us the courtesy of an interview at a mutually convenient time in order that I may meet you with my above client and discuss this matter further.

This communication is copied to Hon. the Attorney General, Hon. the Speaker of Parliament and the Press at the express request of my client, for their information and necessary action.
